  1. I just wonder if he's going to sign with any other team to earn more money (Memphis is going to draw). I don't think so though.
  2. Well, Spain beat Lithuania pretty bad. We were up 25 at halftime, playing some of the best basketball in our history. Lithuania didn't manage to score, and we did it from inside and outside. If Spain plays like we did in that first half, there is no team in these Euros that's even close (10pts) to beating us. Today we're facing Turkey though, and if they lose they're out so they'll be playing hard.
  3. Well, Pau, Marc and Navarro were the only players who played very well. It was a close game when it shouldn't have been, but it's not bad for a first game. Spain always is slow getting into competition rythm, as we've lost our first match in the last two big tournaments.
  4. He's making 1.6 million a month now, so it's a downgrade
  5. Well Spain beat France pretty bad today, even giving our bench plenty of minutes, and considering France has been training since the 12th of July... Spain looks hungry, specially Pau and Ibaka, and France has a good team in Parker,Batum, Pietrus, Noah, Turiaf so happy to win
  6. This is in Sept. and tomorrow we have the first friendly preparation matches. Will be interesting specially since many NBA players are in it, now more than ever because of the lockout.
  7. Real Madrid v Barcelona on Sunday+Wednesday for Spanish Championships...
  8. Spain is the current European champion, European champion U-21, and European champion U-19. I don't even know if we have a chance, but if we win, this is the best moment a land can be in in a sport
  9. It's a win win situation for both. Ibaka is going to bring very solid defense to the roster, and he's going to learn a lot from his team, specially being most of them in the NBA too
  10. I've watched the two first generations, first one was way better though
  11. With Chile, Brazil and Argentina out, there's really no serious reason to keep following it
  12. Back from first vacation, happy to be home. A lot of trades I need to be updated with and already preparing for my next one.
  13. First thing that pops into my mind now that it's official is that he's not going to play due to the lockout xD
  14. It's in the Italian newspaper, they say it's a matter of hours. He also has Brown's approval since they're friends.
  15. I think he is just because he's the best player in the most popular sport, which is what matters. Popularity. Just to give an example, Rafa Nadal had one of the best seasons ever for an individual player in tennis last year, and despite the fact that he was considered great, nobody was praising him as "the best athlete on the world". Something very similar is happening with Djokovic right now, although we still have to see how the rest of the season goes. Also, saying that Ronaldo is better than Messi is ridiculous. Messi has won ALL the competitions you can win as a football club, scored in almost all of them, leading scorer in the CL this year, almost always scores in important games... Don't come up with the "he doesn't win with Argentina" because Cristiano doesn't either. Anyone who has seen the Barcelona games this season or the last couple of seasons knows that he's a a whole different level, and that he's capabable of pretty much anything, despite his phisical disadvantage against other players, and specially, other defenders.
  16. If there's something remarkable about Rubio it's going to be his defense, which is pretty much his only consistent aspect. He's had a very, VERY irregular season, so he's probably coming over to see if a change of scenery helps him. The guy still can't shoot at all, and he's going to play for Spain this summer so I don't think he'll be working on his shot big time. I think he's got the potential to be a good point guard, but I really think it will take him a while to adapt.
  17. An ultra-defensive Real Madrid team, unfortunetly.
  18. They should hire Phil Jackson and win a championship.
  19. Def get Android over iPhone. I would recommend HTC too.
  20. He's the best player in the best league, and the NBA is by far the best league talent-wise. So it's pretty much of the world too.
  21. I see how Gasol messed up, but I don't understand why all the blame is on him. Kobe has a turnover with 20 seconds left, and nobody talks about that.
  22. ^I looked it up and it's since 2003-2004, and not Quarter finals, it's worse: they didn't get past the first Knockout Stage since. The problem for Real Madrid is that if Jose Mourinho can't do it, and he's most likely the best coach in the market as of now, who can do it? Real Madrid won't fire him because there's nobody better to bring in. That's a fact, just like Barcelona being the best team.
