If the CBA drastically drops salaries you can expect all current salaries to be rolled back as well, just like they were in the NHL. People thinking that signing a 5 year deal now ensures them more money in the long run are fooling themselves, all they are getting is security of the 5 years, the money they are signing for won't be the same if the CBA is rolled back as much as suggested in this thread. You can also expect prime buyout rates to be given if the owners get what they want. In the end I really doubt the cap is affected that much. Nuggets have absolutely no leverage right now, the CBA is irrelevant and I doubt Melo is even thinking about it.

My biggest concern this year for Amir is that he is going to try and do too much, especially early in the year, to try and prove himself. I love him for what he is but I just hope he doesn't try and create for himself more than rarely. I love the hustle game he provides I just hope he doesn't try and be something he isn't, which is an isolation scorer. I would hate to see him develop a Kris Humphries sort of attitude offensively.

this list is turrible. Dirk Pau Bosh Amare Duncan rest don't matter. I believe Bosh is better than Pau but I don't feel like arguing about it, somehow Bosh will put up worse numbers this year but because he is on a 60 win team he will somehow be better.

I think they are probably better off going this route since they will get televised more than if they played in Europe, but hopefully top prospects don't go there commonly. People will have more access to what they are doing and how they look than if they played in Europe.

I would love it if Houston used the Knicks picks in a deal to obtain Melo.
