Westbrook is another guy I was dead wrong about. I didn't think he would be good at all.

^^What the hell are you talking about? He was only on the summer league roster.... and this signing can't really hurt, worst case he plays spot minutes for us when guys are injured or blowouts, best case he becomes another Amir Johnson of sorts for us.

Signing a single FA in baseball, or any other sport for that matter, can't take your win % from .500 to .650 in the matter of a season like it can in basketball with a LeBron James or Dwyane Wade.

Players I can think of off the top: Jose Calderon: After that awesome year he had for us off the bench I thought he would be rock solid moving forward, now I'm not even sure he is worth the MLE, I used to like him but now I hate him and long for TJ Ford of 07 to come back Rajon Rondo: Jury is still out on whether or not this kid can be a superstar, but I never thought he would reach the level that he already has. Brandon Jennings: Still don't think he is a particularly special talent, but I thought his attitude after the draft was terrible and I thought he would be riding the pine, turns out he helped turned the Bucks into a playoff team 1 game away from a 2nd round appearance. Jerryd Bayless: I thought the Blazers owned this draft, a scoring PG would have complimented Roy perfectly. It has been 2 years and Jerryd still looks terribly raw. Andrew Bynum: God I used to hate on this kid all the time, especially once he got that undeserved contract. But now he is one of the better C's in the league when he is healthy.

Gordon and Griffin is a good start, Kaman and Baron need to get out though.

I think he signed before LBJ signed.... maybe he wasn't sure that Wade+Bosh would be better than the Celtics.... can't really blame him.

LeBron is probably the most hated player in the NBA at this point. The only people who are still fans of him are people who care more about his abilities than his personality, and Heat fans. Kobe is hardly hated on anymore, all that other [expletive] was swept under the rug.

I seriously expected your rep to be a Lakers logo, this was a terrible deal and Marc will never be close to Pau's level, never ever ever. The Lakers gave nothing of value to themselves, for Pau.... it would be like if Chris Paul got traded for Daniel Orton and 2 firsts.

Kendrick Perkins, Derek Fisher, those are the first two that come to mind for me, there are probably more but I can't think of them, I used to hate KG but the fact he isn't as good anymore makes me feel bad for him more than hate him.

Orlando has pieces to offer if the Hornets want to push for the playoffs after dealing him, but if they want nice young assets it is Portland or New York. Paul is really handcuffing the Hornets if all these rumours are true though.

Saying he was the MVP last year was saying he had a better season than LeBron James did, which is indeed overrating him... he is a superstar but I'm not sure he is a top 5 player currently.
