  1. Good signing if LBJ or Wade come with him, otherwise this is horrible.... either way he won't be an all-star 3 years from now I can tell you that much.
  2. Lol Redick and Bellinelli aren't even comparable.
  3. Durant doesn't need to prove anything, even if he was a finished product (which he isn't) he would be in the same breathe because he is an all-league first teamer and will be from here on out probably... the jury is still out on Melo (for me at least), I still don't think he is a complete player with a majorly winning mentality, maybe it is just me but I see a lot of Vince Carter in him, he has come a long way in the past couple of years, but it hasn't translated into post-season success despite their good regular season records.... All this [expletive] is irrelevant, when someone says top 5 it isn't meant to be taken literally, of course LBJ and Wade are better, probably Kobe too, but the fact that Durant, Melo, CP3 are all in the discussion basically makes them all top 5 players (despite the fact there are 6 of them omgz). I just think it is criminal how quickly people are forgetting how amazing Paul is, this time next year this won't even be a discussion if he plays a fully healthy year. But for the sake of the discussion, Chris Paul is definitely better than Durant, and better than Carmelo, Durant is still really one dimensional offensively and got exposed in the Lakers series (step back after step back) and while Melo is great offensively, maybe the most dangerous offensive repertoire in the game, he still isn't as dominant as Chris Paul, it is hard to compare a PG to a forward but I just definitely think CP3 is better, whether it be statistically or the win column, he checks out in both.
  4. Bulls rather easily. Korver at SF for them would be perfect.
  5. Lol at putting Rondo and Cp3 in the same breathe. Chris Paul's 3rd NBA season is better than any season Deron has ever had up to this point, his averages of 21-11.6, on close to 50% while getting damn near 3 steals a game, with a mere 2.5 turnovers made him the MVP of that season, excuse me Kobe but CP3 was most definitely the MVP this season, the only reason Kobe got it was because he was an MVP virgin, these aren't just hollow stats either, 56 wins with a pretty mediocre supporting cast, he single handedly turned Davis West (who??) into an all-star. His 4th year he damn well might have trumped his 3rd statistically, 22.8-11 with near 3 steals once again, again people took note of this and he was definetely a superstar in everyone's mind, and once again with (imo) an inferior supporting cast consisting of mostly mediocre shooters and a decent pick and pop big man in West, the Hornets won MORE than the Jazz. Now his 5th year, he goes down with an injury, his teammates have invisibility cloaks on most games, kind of crazy that 18.7-10.7 can be called a bad year for Chris Paul. Call me a statboy if you want, but the stats don't lie, Chris Paul is more efficient than Deron Williams, definitely as good defensively (Deron is horribly overrated defensively by some, he is an average defender)... each year the Hornets have won more games and Chris Paul has been the superior player... Deron is a great player, maybe even a top 10 player, but when healthy Chris Paul is one of the most dominant superstars in the league, on BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL. Deron isn't better than Chris Paul in any aspect of the game despite popular belief he is a better shooter, he really isn't.
  6. A lot of money for a 2nd option player on a championship team.
  7. He is a top 5 player definitely, kind of funny that people think Deron is better all of a sudden, reminds me exactly when everyone forgot how amazing Wade was a few years ago when he missed almost the entire year.
  8. He will turn it over close to 4 times a game if Iguodala is wearing a different jersey next year, otherwise I see something like 14-4-6 from him next year with around 3 turnovers, I think he is going to be very quick out of the gate though.
  9. Nets can afford to do this since they have their picks and youth they could groom, they could just use their cap next off-season after adding another top 5 pick this year if they wanted, KNicks don't have a choice they need something now.
  10. This is weird from a Raptors perspective, Dre has 2 less years than Jose I think and Eddy makes like 11M, that is like almost 20 combined, we get long term cap relief but unless another contract is involved we are taking on almost double what we are giving, unless we use the TPE would potentially get from the s&t of CB4, would be a nice to get all those big juicy expirings, this would be an amazing deal for Hedo.
  11. He is an extremely small price to pay for a top 5 player.
  12. Damn it sounds like he is serious about leaving Miami, karma.
  13. Knicks use money, Cavs use the heart, Nets use Jay-Z... Bulls the only team using their roster.
  14. If Odom had to take a paycut last year than so does Fisher, a 2 year 6M deal sounds about fair at this point, Fisher has to be realistic at this point in his career if he wants to be on this team.
  15. It isn't so much retract as it is 'we can't offer it anymore' lol. Their entire MLE is almost gone now.
  16. Lol at him wanting to leave Atlanta, all the money he wants, he is the man, and will play with better players than he will in New York, honestly he is an idiot.
  17. Lol they might have offended James by ONLY talking about money, they didn't say anything about how they intend on putting a winning team around him (which is probably his biggest question to begin with). The presentation talks about the value of a title to NY, but he can't get one himself, that was evident in Cleveland. If this presentation leak is legit, then I could have made something better, I only skimmed but they didn't even show how they calculated or came up with the stats lol.
  18. Meh, I am kind of annoyed at his behaviour but at the same time this is the first time in his NBA career he is really the center of attention. No way Raptors turn down getting value just to spite Bosh because of his behaviour... it sucks he is leaving this way because now he will probably get mixed reactions coming back when really he should have been getting a standing ovation, he should have just kept his mouth shut and walked away like a professional.
  19. It would be cool/epic to see this 'super team' come together and take on the Lakers.... LBJ+Wade or LBJ+Bosh or whatever in the finals would be epic, of course LBJ's title would have an asterisk next to it for playing with Wade or Bosh I am sure.
  20. Not bad, either way he is getting max money, if the cap is lowered contracts will be rolled back so he will be on the same level as Bosh/Wade/LBJ anyways, this makes the Nuggets have to continue to get better and gives him flexibility moving forward.
  21. Yes, I am mad the Bucks are making bad transactions because Bosh is leaving Toronto. Maggette, Salmons, Bogut, Redd.... all of these guys, have they ever been core players on a successful team? No, I don't see what makes you think this will be any different. The reason I feel so strongly about this is because these are the type of sort sighted moves the Raptors have previously made and are on the road to seemingly continue to make this coming free agency. He is financially restricting this franchise as the cost of players who aren't going to make them much better, if at all.
