Probably Monta Ellis or David Lee.... but I also just read that not a single all-star this year is on a losing team so I guess it makes sense. Even though I am adamantly against record having such an impact on whether or not you are an all-star.

I am fine with all the selections besides Horford, pretty obvious both Lopez and Lee should have gotten in ahead of him especially Lee. Also curious why do both teams have 3 PG's on them? Is that how it always is? I don't recall. And as for Mo, he wasn't an all-star last year IMO and sure as hell shouldn't be this year either.... he put up similar numbers on Milwaukee and just because he does the same thing in Cleveland he is an all-star? No.... all the wings who made it over him are easily more deserving.

I am scared for this game, hopefully we can grind out a win. Gonna need a big game out of the bench, hopefully Bosh plays well though. I am expecting a lot of jumpers this game -_-

The Heat, Bobcats and Raptors are all very comparable teams, anyone of them could finish 5th IMO. The drop off after 4 is dramatic though, I don't expect any team out of the top 4 to make it out of the first round. I am very optimistic about the future with this team though, with the huge strides Bargnani has made in the last half of last year and this season so far, along with Demar hopefully developing, if Bosh stays I think we have a really solid core. I think Bargnani is a legitimate second scoring option in the NBA now, or at least will be soon, which is something Bosh has NEVER had before, hopefully Bosh realizes no one in FA can provide a better overall team than we can right now while also allowing him to be the best player on the team, which is something he apparently desires.

I think the overall defensive intensity has gone up, we are actually closing out on shooters. I remember before the season didn't Triano say the Raptors were going to let teams beat us from 3 if they were going to beat us? Or something like that, well obviously that wasn't working.... idk I could be remembering completely wrong lol. Anyways I think I remember also hearing that at the meeting or around that time in Washington Triano asked Colangelo to take over the defensive aspects of the team for Iavoroni, so that could possibly explain it as well. Overall I was wrong about Triano earlier in the year, I thought we needed a real NBA coach, Triano seems like a really solid coach so far. He might not be a great motivator but he seems like he knows his [expletive] and the players seem to trust his system now, if only we could find some way to utilize Turkeyglue.

I hope Demar doesn't try and force or start launching shots up to show that he is better than Jerebko lol... Anyways who cares, this game means even less than the all-star game... he should be focused on getting on an all-rookie team is anything.

Bargs and Bosh might be the best big man duo in the NBA right now, they are tearing it up. If only we could get something out of 5/53 we would be golden. First time 2 games over .500 this year, beast.

LeBron was quite easily the MVP last year. How was Wade even close? By your criteria, Wade carrying the team on his own to 50 wins, LeBron would already have 5 MVP's since he has been doing that his ENTIRE CAREER. LeBron was not only the best player on the best team last year (record wise of course), he was also the most dominant and easily the most valuable player in the NBA. LeBron is once again this year, the best player in the NBA, and on currently the number 1 team in the NBA. I don't know how you can go against LeBron right now, especially if the Cavaliers continue to dominate withou their 'allstar' Mo Williams. Way too much credit was given to Mo last year, the Cavs were winning 60 games with or without Mo last year. Anyway you slice it, LeBron was the MVP last year, and is again this year, especially with Kobe struggling right now no one is even close.

Ehh, don't really disagree with any of his choices, AV definitely shouldn't be DPOTY IMO though, he is a key part but is by no means a defensive anchor IMO, G-Wall or D12 or maybe even Jsmoove would get this over him in my books. Everything else looks about right, Ridnour is basically matching his career numbers so I am kind of confused by that decision, Brook Lopez and David Lee are two guys I would probably take over him, maybe even Bargnani to an extent but that may be biased. LeBron is definitely the MVP of the NBA though, I don't know how you could go with Kobe in light of his recent play combined with the fact LeBron beat him TWICE this year.

Jack is awesome, he and Leo both know the game obviously, but Jack is much more humble and funny at times, whereas Leo is just a douche who tries to teach us basketball, as if the fans watching haven't figured out how to shoot a jump shot yet (I love when he talks about the rotation the ball needs to get the friendly bounce ). Chuck was awesome but he was so bias it wasn't funny, he had good catch phrases and you would love how emotionally attached he felt to the team, he was a true Raptors fan calling the games. Devlin is somewhat more professional, his nicknames and catchphrases are extremely annoying at times, but I don't mind him when he is with Jack. Overall Leo is pretty intolerable, the rest is whatever. EDIT: Devlin messes up names quite a bit too which is very annoying.

Ariza is a role player trying to be a big time contributor. He is at his best focusing on defense and spot up 3 point shooting. He isn't even the Rockets best player, Brooks is.

Because they are the best team in the NBA with the best player in the NBA right now, that is why. Unless Beasley comes out and drops 30 the Cavaliers will win. The Cavaliers still have 2 deadeye shooters on the roster which is all they really need.

Stephen Jackson should get major consideration for an all-star spot as well over someone like Jamison, idk if he is classified as a guard or forward but just saying. Typically I don't like when record is held against someone for an asg spot, but at 14-29, without anything particularly amazing in your stats, you simply are not getting in the game. I do agree Jamison is the Wizards best player, but in their current state, that is not saying much.
