Don't think Cleveland can go wrong with Barnes or Drummond. I think Barnes is going to be a better pro than people give him credit for. Not a first option type, but I think he might be a good 'robin' type of player.

If we can get Rudy Gay for that pick (probably adding more but not a lot) I do it. If we keep the pick, best case we hope for a Rudy Gay caliber player anyways.

Well, NJ is done.

I hold onto him and see what he can do. I would rather lose him for nothing (a big RFA offer) after seeing 2 bad seasons, than trade him now after just one. The fact he can be a 17 point player in this league with such a limited arsenal is encouraging. I want to give him time.

LBJ had a higher PER! But really, the things Melo did better than LeBron were marginal compared to the things LeBron did better than Melo, where the gap was huge. Specifically, running the entire team as an 18 year old, rather than having a role as almost specifically a scorer (to which Melo was better, LeBron just brought more to the table IMO).

Its been sweet here man. I know I wasn't here during the "prime" of OTR but the discussion here has always been really solid. This is so awesome. It really does give hope to a fan like me that a team like NJ can go from a lottery team one year to the finals the next. I fully expect NJ to get bodied in the finals but still, it gives me hope as a fan of a bad team. It sucks for NY but they are gonna be right back here next year. I think they have minor moves to make but they have a good core there. I'd consider moving Gabby tbh. Just ain't a player that I would want to rely on in the playoffs, so soft. C/s the Parise notion, but iunno man he's gotta realize that Brodeur is so old and their window is pretty small, and there is nothing in the pipeline. Nah. LAC are a really attractive destination. Young core, attractive area, shit owner though. I could see CP3 bringing some guys in. I think the fans care a lot more about the flopping shit than the players do.
