I find it very difficult to believe that Cuban lets Chandler walk. But at the same time, I don't think he is stupid, and won't give him a long term deal at a huge number.

Would rather let him finish the year out in Europe, have another summer to add weight and not have to deal with everything BFT mentioned. Also, I want Bargnani to get off this team before he gets here. Still really excited about this kid, but I want us to take our time with him... knocking a year off his rookie deal isn't something I am in a rush to do.

This is literally the only player, other than Marc Gasol (who at his pricetag, I am not really interested in, not overly sold on him), I want the Raptors to pursue. Something like 5 years at 6-8 million annually would be a deal I would like, but I feel like he will get more. I feel like he is still too raw to throw the checkbook at him, especially when we have Jonas in the pipeline.

Pretty much spot on with Demar. I also think Bayless is better than his stats suggest, but he needs to be given the ball and run with it.. throw him to the wolves and see how he responds. We need to know what we have with him before the draft.

Really hope he plays well and can stay healthy. Pens absolutely need some muscle in the lineup when he comes back. If anyone slams him in a similar fashion to Bolland in the playoffs last year, they better get muffed out badly. Exciting news, I hope he can play well and get back to where he was last year, being far and away the best player in the NHL with no one remotely close. This is scary news for the rest of the league though. Pittsburgh has been a top team without the best player in the world, you add him back, this could be very bad news. Far from a Pens fan, but I love Sid, and hope he can stay healthy and produce. Great news for hockey.

Why? While he has the ability to make terrific saves, he still struggles to make routine plays, and is 27 years old. He is a below average goalie who has no business in the NHL unless he somehow overhauls his game, and can execute routine plays.

Not holding my breath. The lack of basketball is starting to get to me though so I am cautiously optimistic. If a deal is to get worked out, I don't expect it to be done any time soon, but more like some time next week. It still sounds like they might be too far apart on the issues.
