Like this move... always liked Pietrus, and he is on a one year deal so it won't kill us long term.. prefer Pietrus to Linas so hopefully Linas is shown the door soon. Pietrus is a guy who I believe compliments Demar nicely at the 3, and if we don't draft a 3 this year, is a guy I see as a really good 5th starter despite the fact he's never been given a chance to be that really.. or just a nice bench player to have. Expecting him to be the opening night starter.

Not sure how I feel about it... on one hand Butler is a pretty good fit, plays a position of need and will help them become a playoff team immediately, but on the other hand.. he is already 31, which isn't really old, but he isn't really a long term solution for this team, and is taking up useful cap space. It is a nice, tradeable cap hit though, so I guess they could include him in a trade down the line if they wanted too... I don't know, I guess it just means that they are going to stand pat for now. Jordan-Griffin-Butler-Gordon-Mo should be a playoff team though.

Not sure if Deron will be in a rush to sign long term with 34 year old Dirk and probably not much else on the roster.

Why do the Heat insist on guys who play the side of the floor where they don't really need any help. Not a huge fan of tying max money in defensive specialists. Tyson is obviously a terrific fit though. Will still be interesting to see how they play with mediocre SG/PG's..

Their opportunity to build a team is worse than Cleveland's 2 years ago... Cleveland at least had Hickson at the time, who was a somewhat attractive asset. The Magic have.... Orton?

Possibly one of the most overrated, inefficient players in the NBA right now. Anyone who signs him will be disappointed... he has his moments, but he is so inconsistent.
