  1. The Pistons roster is pretty darn awful. And to be honest, it's mostly management's fault. Joe Dumars has really [expletive]ed this team up. Think about it, he's drafted horribly, the Gordon and Villaneuva moves have backfired, and Tracy McGrady? Lol.
  2. I'd laugh too. Why'd they hire that clown? When they played at the Garden against the Knicks, I was like who is this guy?!
  3. this is probably the dumbest topic i've seen in a while. who cares? it's 3 years away. let's worry about it then. it's already bad enough we have speculation about d-will, howard and cp3 for the summer of 2012.
  4. Fact. I could picture them nabbing him to go alongside Williams and Lopez. Could be a formidable tandem. Fact or Fiction: The Sixers finish ahead of the Knicks in the Eastern Conference standings at the end of this season.
  5. Ok...my thoughts on the game... First of all, the biggest problem is the rebounding. Can one of these mother [expletive]ers box out and dominate the glass? I realize we are a bit undersized, but put a body on someone, jesus. Second of all, yes the defense is bad, but I thought it was better tonight than it was against MIL. But we gave them about 20 second chances with offensive rebounds which made us look terrible. Third, Melo was definitely effected all 4th qtr with the elbow injury. No excuses, it was obvious... Lastly, it's one game...BUT, if we rebound and play this defense we will be forfeiting the 6th seed in the East very very soon. But...I'm not too concerned tbh. We shot like 30% in the 2nd half...if we shoot 30% we'll lose to anyone tbh...not many teams win when they shoot 30% in the 2nd half...
  6. And doing a ton of cocaine... Two and a half men is a great show though lol
  7. I thought this would be pretty cool if we used anything regarding the NBA in a little fact or fiction. For those who don't really know how this works, basically, you answer the above poster's "fact or fiction:" question...and then you create a new one. I'll start it off. Fact or Fiction: Assuming both teams make the playoffs, the Nuggets will make it farther than the Knicks in the post-season.
  8. Great deal for OKC...They are now legit. They needed that big mean enforcing big man inside. they just got him.
  9. No Way. At least Turiaf can make some cuts to the hoop and dunk it and occasionally make a nice layup...I've never seen Jeffries do anything at all. Jeffries isn't even a good defender. People say he is but I've seen him play some wack defense before. He's an average defender, he's nothing more. The dude is incredibly gifted with a huge body and long arms and he's horrible NYK Idk why you like him.....................
  10. Seriously if anyone thinks Jared Jeffries can give us any good minutes ya'll wilin
  11. Kristic was soft when he played in Jersey. He had a lot of good offensive talent but rebounding/defensively he was wack. Having a good interior defender, and a good strong rebounder in the Eastern Conference is a huge advantage, and they just gave that away... And when I say that, although I'm not a big Kristic fan, I think Jeff Green is a good young talent. But the Celts are winning now. They don't need a swingman...they needed what they had...lol.
  12. I thought that was a bad, bad deal for the Celtics. One of the first times I can remember saying that about a Danny Ainge move... But, seriously, how will you compete with Gasol and Bynum now if you were to face them in the Finals....LOL......Jeff Green and Nenad Kristic? Riiiiight
  13. West - Lakers...thought some fresh blood would've helped re-energize their CHAMP. aspirations. East - Bulls (didn't think any of the top East teams needed to, though)
  14. ive never seen barron play but i hate jeffries lmao lmfao^ true
  15. No need for Jeffries, he blows, but give me Barron for rebounding purposes.
  16. Nah, the roster was better then...Of course, he should make them better. I think they MIGHT be able to somehow find a way to sneak into the 8th seed...but I highly doubt it.
  17. Considering the fact the Knicks haven't been over .500 in a decade, I'd say "We're Back" too.
  18. replaced 'boss' with 'retarded'...I MAY BE WRONG...BUT I DOUBT IT.
  19. Ok, yeah, it's probably been 4 years since the BK rumors started - but hey, it seems like a while, alright?
  20. Yeah...not surprising against the Knicks. I couldn't tell if it was just the Bucks getting hot, or just the Knicks awful defense. Probably the latter. When is he due back? Not for another couple of weeks, no? And yeah I was real surprised Brewer didn't get in. Sheldon Williams and Balkman...understandable. Brewer? Wow.
  21. ...I'm sure they would've found a way around that. Lol
  22. Good W for the Knicks. Loved the way Melo elevated his game in the 4th...he wasn't doing too well but started to get in a groove when we needed that final push. MIL is a decent defensive squad, so when we play against the mediocre of the pack (D wise) we should put up even more points. Thank god for TD23 tonight though...without him we lose this game. There were times the "big" three were out of sync completely, and he hit a few clutch buckets and threes... Defensively and rebounding wise it's pretty much the general consensus amongst all basketball fans/media...the knicks need another interior defender and a better rebounder. No Brewer, Balkman, or Williams tonight though...those three guys I would assume could help in those three facets. I would like to see them get PT...but it looks like D'Antoni prefers his 8 man ROTO.
