Flash I think you make a good point in the sense that CP3 or Dwill would fit in better but you have to realize the jazz or hornets don't want to give up on cp3 or dwill yet.....they think they can re-sign them im sure

Wolves trade Brewer for Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry
JYD replied to Dash's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
Yeah if you're looking for an overhyped worthless POS prospect, then yeah, great addition...  -
Even though my team just got Melo, I still maintain he's overrated.... Now I hope he proves me wrong.
-
there's been stat and melo remixes before he got traded...like a month ago ive seen them
-
This is great news. FU- YEAH! Just kidding. But really I agree. :glasses:
-
I'd hang on to those guys...maybe trade Mozgov for a first if you can.
-
just about to post that shit is insane..i want to go to a game but it's just gonna be ridiculous
-
Idk...Billups will be goen def after this season. I think TD23 might be ready to be a starter by the end of the season what do ya'll think??? i love the kid's game
-
Yeah...basically 2012. If they get cp3 or d will they basically are as good as MIA and BOS will be too old by then.......
-
Lol. Mozgov was a tough one to lose just because I liked his potential as a legit big. Man played hard and really wanted to approve, it was quite obvious... What can Sheldon Williams and Balkman give us? Anything? Once Balkman left NY I didn't follow him. Always thought he was a bum. I guess both of them still are...

Well we sha'll find out. Disappointed with how much we gave up, but my two favorite players on the team remain in tact (my light skinned brotha landry fields and amar'e) so i'm not shedding any tears. but i will say i loved raymond felton, gallo was winning me over after i bashed him all off-season, and wilson chandler was a pretty consistent player for someone that was young and getting better.

No...but really...what number will he wear? I think it's gotta be 5. Bill Walker can go F himself. Lmao

Melo updates: Nets bluff designed to get Knicks players?
JYD replied to NomarFachix's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
But who? Outside of CP3/D-Will far in the future, who else? I honestly don't think the Knicks are a better team with basically just Melo And Stat than they are with their current roster... At some point, you've got to say that they're giving up too much. Gallo Chandler Felton 1st rd pick Curry's exp contract If that's not enough, you need to draw the line there and say we'll take our chances with Melo's decision. If Melo really wants to be here, he won't sign an extension with any other team or the Nuggets and he'll come to us with a loaded roster in the off-season. -
Ehhh, I'd say Pau was better than him. Pau is a helluva player. Kobe's team's have always been better than Jordan's...not really even debatable. Kobe makes his teammates better. Jordan, well, he made his teammates good. Scottie Pippen is a prime example - personally, I think that guy is probably one of the most overrated players to ever play the game. He was good (not saying he wasn't) but he isn't one of the top 50 players of all time. Jordan absolutely made that guy's career.

Melo updates: Nets bluff designed to get Knicks players?

I wouldn't call him a great rebounder. Plus, in the Knicks system, he'd be playing almost like a PF position a lot of the times, with Amar'e at the 5. That's two weak rebounding fowards, and pretty bad defensively. Sure they may combine to give you 50 or 60 points per game, but if you can't stop anyone or get a rebound it could be a disaster. The more I think about it, I start to wonder how much better the Knicks get from this trade... -
Who cares about this now anyway? It's not for an entire year and a half? lol.................................
-
Did you just start watching basketball? Come on now, that's just foolish. Kobe Bryant is not better in ANY facet of the game compared to Jordan. I don't think people here realize how good Michael Jordan was....and how mediocre his teams really were....

Melo updates: Nets bluff designed to get Knicks players?
JYD replied to NomarFachix's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
First of all, Felton is still part of the future. He's still going to be here next season, and he's been terrific. He should've been an all-star. Williams/CP3 are definitely better, but let's not act like Felton is some scrub average 10 pts and 5 ast per game and is a terrible defender. This dude can play. He's rust on the cusp of being an elite PG in this league... Chandler, yeah, he probably wouldn't have been resigned I guess from what I am hearing so ok. And Gallinari is still a top 10 pick in the draft, is what, 22(?) and is becoming one of the top shooters and better scorers in the league. He is also an underrated defender. Carmelo is a top 15 player in the NBA, no doubt, but he is also overrated. He plays virtually no defense, his rebounding is suspect for a F, and he doesn't pass from the games I've seen. Steve Kerr was discussing how him and Amar'e would be together, and he thought they would not be good together at all, and I think I'd have to agree... So there's more to this trade than Chris Broussard is saying on TV. -
Carmelo is definitely a candidate... I also vote Chris Bosh.
-
Jordan. Let's not forget, Jordan played in an era where there was more defense played, and hand checking was allowed.

It's basically the same story. There should just be one 'Melo topic until he's dealt. Lol. -
New York draws the line in the sand for Carmelo
JYD replied to magicbalala245's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
The deal they put on the table is enough. If Denver wants to move him; they will. If they don't and want to risk him signing the extension, that's what they'll do. They've gotten more out of the Knicks than they could've ever hoped for.
