  1. I'd say there's a better chance than people are saying here, but at the same time I also don't think it'll actually happen. Basically, to be a bit clearer with what I am actually saying... I wouldn't be surprised if they did squeeze into the 8th spot, but I wouldn't bet on it.
  2. We've been hearing about BK for like 10 years, so until the Nets are actually playing there attracting F.A.'s wills till be difficult. I read that there was a report out of Utah D-Will is unhappy with being traded to the Nets. I know I come in here sounding like I bash NJN all the time, but honestly I really hope he does well for you guys. I think having the Nets and Knicks relevant and even the Sixers would be a lot of fun and great for the area. Just as when the Giants and Jets and Eagles have all been good over the past few years; I think it'd be great if all three teams in the NBA had good teams at the same time.
  3. Neither would we...Toney Douglas is an imperative part of the future. We would have no PG. Isn't Rudy a SG? Lol.
  4. Probably the best one I heard. Yeah Carmelo! by Maino was decent. Lol. Miami Heat, THAT'S NOTHIN!
  5. I think it was an alright trade for the Nets. Gave up a fair amount for him, but if he DOES sign the extension it's definitely worth it.
  6. if you mean trade for camby i don't see how it's possible. what would we give up?? lol
  7. i meant that in reference to the anthony randolph thread lol when you tried to make a case for him to play. but you know your shit HOV you're a good member i apologize
  8. Hmm. Not sure. We're going to have to wait and see. I think Amar'e and Melo brings you closer to a champ. than Deron and Amar'e. If they could've gotten all three at the end of this season, well of course, it would've been a no-brainer. It is what it is, though. I'm happy with the new team. Still a great chance at CP3 or even D-Will. Who says he'll want to stay in Jersey?
  9. Hahaha true. Yeah sorry about the typo I knew his name was Roger just when I hear Mason I always think of Anthony Mason and then I think Jr and think of his son.
  10. well hell bring back barron and yeah anthony mason jr sucks but he barely plays too. not to sound like HOV here but it's hard to tell how he could be...he must not be showing much in practice or something... NYK at this point needs role players obviously, but they need certain ones. they need a guy like ben wallace was to DET Pistons during their champ./playoff runs...they need a good rebounder and defender. forget any type of offense/passing/fleet of foot/etc. Turiaf is somewhat of that guy, but they need an even better enforcer. If they can somehow find that guy they'll be in good shape.
  11. well the trades like mo taylor, steve francis, etc. etc. were just trying to bring excitement to NY and make the knicks into at least a playoff team until they got out of this financial rut. but in reality it was dumb when he should've just been waiting out the future. problem is, when you're not a "well known, or respectable" vet in the GM executive business (such as walsh) you'll a. lose your job before you wait it out or b. will seem like a fool for doing nothing as the knicks continue to win 25 games per year.. so you have to put that in perspective to be fair to isiah. and just based on the fact he was a great player he obviously knows a thing or two about bball. he's also made some good draft picks. and i think he has a good relationship with many current players (like melo) probably because they all grew up idolizing him.
  12. Oh. damn I was hoping the Knicks could pick up some type of enforcer down low. Someone who's mean. Like a Kendrick Perkins (watered down version obviously not going to find someone on the street as good)
  13. real gm is cool. i also go to rapradar a lot to check out music and i'm always on espn.com, cnn, and nytimes.com
  14. yea exactly and i've seen his parents before he is still technically african-american based on that lol...and we know hes black based on his leaping abilities
  15. I know he was on the team but why'd they get rid of him and why's he available if he was that effective?
  16. I've read Billups is better at the PnR than Felton. How true that is, not sure. Read it on Real GM. I don't know all that much about Billups' game. I know he's a good player over the years, very consistent, but I didn't watch too much of him recently. I haven't seen much of Melo either...so I'm pumped to see them both.
  17. Yeah I guess Rautins would probably go..^ Wouldn't mind seeing the guy get some PT but he never does. Who is this Earl Barron guy? Not too familiar with him... Sounds like Azubuike could be a good player for us depending on how he recovers from this injury which must be pretty damn serious.
  18. Lol. Gotta love us light-skinned brothas ...but nah really he's black but white fans identify with him cuz of his red hair lmao
  19. He's still one of the greatest players of all-time. And the thing about Isiah is he tried to find 'short-term' fixes when someone really need to come in there, be patient, and wait on the bad decisions even before Isiah....so Isiah ended up making things worse...
  20. The jersey change got me thinking maybe he could add a spark off the bench if/when he comes back... I've honestly never seen the guy play, or at least I don't really recall. So I was just wondering what type of player he was lol.
  21. Not anymore..true. Five years ago he was probably better though. Billups will defend OK in the big games though. I think Billups will be OK. I don't think he'll be as good as Felton but he'll be formidable. I think the key is actually Douglas off the bench.
  22. Will he ever play? If so, when's he due back and what the hell was his injury? I think he could be valuable.
  23. alright yeah he just wanted that green lmao
  24. yeah...i prefer him to billups. i think douglas could be a greaaaat player
