Nets Attendance Better Than Last Year, But Still Worst
JYD replied to Teletopez's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
Sure, Brookyln will increase attendance...But like you said having a big name is key but it's also the Nets. The Knicks have a lot of prestige and such a bigger fan base...even when the Nets move to Brooklyn they won't average anywhere close to the Knicks attendance. The Garden. The Knicks. The mecca of basketball. -
Hahaha. Yeah. Well, the Thunder don't have any low post defensive presence. Turiaf and Amar'e have actually had several blocks down low each tonight. If you want to see the Knicks clicking on all cylinders, watch the replay of this game. This is the Knicks at the best. Amar'e not having to do everything tonight. A crazy good game for Turiaf, Douglas, and Fields. I am loving watching this team - first time I can say that in a DECADE. I really hope they don't break it up to get Carmelo.

A. They just got an entirely new team..which will take time..Not sure how big of a fan I am of teh acquisitions they have made either... B. Dwight Howard is somewhat overrated. Still a very good player, but not nearly as good as people make him out to be. ... C. And Stan Van Gundy is a tool.

The idea is to celebrate how far blacks have come as a race. Maybe you need to hit the history books. It's supposed to be to honor key people in the civil rights movement and educate what african-american's had to go through. I don't really care. I don't pay attention to it. It in no way effects my life. So, honestly, who gives a [expletive]? [expletive]aaaa Please!

Pretty sick on first listen. Not the biggest Ghostface fan, but this is nice.

90% of his songs are just random punchlines. He's always been a punchline rapper... And I agree his new stuff has definitely gotten worse and worse. I still think this song is far better then anything on I am not a human being ep though.
-
lol...i think you spend too much time caring ECN. If blacks want a history month who gives a [expletive]?

Wellll.... We saw what happened to the Phils when they played the Yankees in the World Series. We see 0 Super Bowls from the Eagles. When did the Flyers last win one? 76ers are irrelevant. Just sayin

What is your favorite Christmas time movie?
JYD replied to The Regime's topic in Movies and Television Forum
A Christmas Story. -
...when has he written anything meaningful?
-
Well...3 games in 4 days. Coming off emotional highs playing the Celts/Heat in front of an electric garden crowd. CLE was much more desperate then the Knicks for a W. Not surprised they lost.
-
Not playoff time yet Good win for ya'll today. Eagles hung in there and never gave up. I have to give them credit.
-
Welcome to the world all she wrote poppin bottles the rest are good, nothing special. those 3 are the standouts imo

They are two separate people, though. I love the idea behind the bill. It may not be written up greatly, and their may be some issues with it, but the idea certainly is a good one. It is fair that the kid gets to go through the legal process of becoming a citizen. As long as they seem to be clean and are not criminals, hell, why not man? I just don't see what's wrong with it. Stop being so ethnocentric about the US. It's like if your dad murders someone, and ten years later he gets caught. Should you go to jail too? No. It's not a crime that you committed. These people should be able to go through a legal process that grants them citizenship.

9/11 Responders bill defeated by Senate GOP Fillibuster
JYD replied to JYD's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
I applaud the house for passing it. I just don't see how politics play a factor into this. Fox News is constantly running the 9/11 propaganda into their favor, for example, with the mosque...they brought on firefighters who were against it. But when it comes to the topic of this, it's virtually no where to be seen. Even on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN...barely anyone is talking about it. It's a [expletive]ing shame. -
The DREAM Act gives a path to LEGAL citizenship to children of illegals. I see nothing wrong with this. Considering ECN and Flash's relatives had once come to this country in hopes of gaining citizenship, just as my relatives did. If we can get them on a path to legal citizenship, I don't see a problem. Illegal's CHILDREN should not be reprimanded for their parents coming here illegally. Come on now.

Pretty horrible loss. Knicks shot terribly in the 4th qtr and OT. They were obviously tired. I wasn't surprised that they lost though. I kind of expected it. Cleveland was hungry for a win, at home, and the Knicks coming off two brutal games and no energy playing on the road.

Pretty sure they surveyed millions of men and women in the Armed forces, and 75 percent of them said that it should be repealed and gays should be allowed to openly serve. I have to find that specific stat somewhere, I forget where I heard it. I think they were talking about it on The Daily Show. And the middle class is becoming oppressed because of Republican policies that favor the rich...but that's for a different topic.
