i went out and bought this CD and distant realtives...fire so far. i wouldn't put it in the GREAT category but it's certainly one of the best releases this year...it's great for hip-hop. talib + hitek are true hip-hop

The album certainly looks promising. Honestly, I'd be surprised if it even came out in the Fall. Albums take sooo long to come out. Look at Lupe for example, or Drake (wasn't it originally, a while back, supposed to come out in Feb '10?)
