Going to be tough to win out West, especially early in the season like this.. Knicks will need to be a lot better than they were against GS. Looking forward to watching though, always enjoy watching KB24 & the Lakers.

If they were hitting their shots, at least in the first half, it would've been a 15 to 20 pt lead. Carmelo and Stoudemire were arguably the worst I've ever seen them play in a Knick uniform.

The Knicks defense wasn't even a huge problem last night. They played pretty well in the first half, but when Chandler is in foul trouble it's impossible for them to play great D. If they aren't hitting ANY shots, and the offense gets stagnant, their defense begins to look real bad because the other team starts to pull away.

As pointed out by iMan, the Knicks glaring problems were exposed. When Chandler is in foul trouble, the defense is horrendous. The PG play does not fit the team at all, no playmaking/passing ability from either Bibby OR Douglas. And, when STAT and Melo are not making their ISO shots, their is no offense. Those three combinations = big loss versus any team. I'll start to be worried if they come out looking like that again tomorrow night.

My random thoughts so far: -Lakers will be just fine, despite me disliking Mike Brown. I think he's a pretty mediocre coach. But the Lakers will be fine, and be a top 4 team in the West...probably top 3. Kobe still looks great, and I think McRoberts and Murphy will be better for them than people think. Also, Bynum isn't even playing yet. -I know people think I'm hating on the Nets but Jesus I watched their past two games and they are really horrible. James is a real good rebounder, as is Humphries, but their entire roster is filled with a bunch of scrubs. It's incredible. They really need to find a way to get Dwight, because Deron is such a good player he's wasting his time right now. -John Wall is overrated IMO. I don't think Wall is that good. Watched him several times last year, then tuned into the opener and was really unimpressed. One thing I will say is his team is pretty bad around him, with a bunch of overhyped young players who need to grow up...but I don't think he is as good or will be as good as people think. He has no consistent jumper/3pt shot as opposed to other good PG's (Paul, DW, etc.) and I'm just not in love with how he forces the action. -Knicks looked good in the win vs. Boston. Despite giving up 100+ pts their defense was pretty good the entire game. Rondo is a huge problem for us though. We have no PG that can defend him, and he must have gotten 10-15 pts just on uncontested fast-break layups. Pierce being out was huge, but if Melo didn't get in foul trouble I have a hard time believing Boston goes on that HUGE run in the 3rd QTR. Just a few things...obviously it's early, but those were just a few things that stuck out to me through the first 1-3 games.

League Pass is cool but I'd only get it if I move and don't get MSG for the Knick games. Enough basketball on ESPN, TNT & ABC to not need the League Pass IMO. Also, with the league pass, does it come in HD? Because I was watching the MIL-MIN game last night on the LP channels and it was not in HD. Horrible picture.

Shumperrt is a big loss. Although he shoots and forces the action too much, he's still a nice spark off the bench. Jeffries was looking better this season too. Both are big losses. Bibby needs to step up. I hope Baron is back sooner than expected, lol

yea dude it was great. i was pretty hammered at the tailgate and in the first quarter, but sobered up after that. it was cool cuz i was with 1 giant fan, and 2 jet fans. and we had pretty decent seats. a lot of fun, definitely the outcome made it worthwhile. we did get a flat tire on the way out of the stadium, had to put the spare on in the parking lot lmao...then we could only drive 50mph the entire way home, took me 2 hours to get back home
