  1. Greece can't seem to knock down their open jumpers. Rose is playing very well, and I loved Durant's alley oop to Iggy. Gotta love seeing that teamwork.
  2. Why the hell did you bump this 3 month old topic just to post a broken image...?
  3. Here's an insight on the art of passing in 2k11: http://community.2ksports.com/community/insights/index.cfm?aid=2883419&l=11
  4. Lol yeah you'd think they'd get more original, but even Clark Kellogg is saying the same things as Kenny Smith did. Just a more annoying voice. But as for the gameplay, it looks very smooth, and we can see the great addition of the pullup jumpers to add to the game's realism. I'm sure the game plays even better than it looks.
  5. I believe I said I was taking a break, which I did. On RSZ you said you would take a break, yet returned in less than an hour. I'm not going to argue this, feel free to send me a crying PM if you wish.
  6. Here's a good quality gameplay video of the Magic vs Nuggets. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9eJ6OwUkjA&feature=player_embedded
  7. I like how the spammer of all spammers made a topic about improving basketball discussion.
  8. Much better defender? Lol... please start watching basketball. Yeah you should know more than anyone.
  9. Pretty sure Li-Ning is no where in the league of Reebok...
  10. It is indeed a defensive attribute, but the OP was making it sound like Josh Smith was a better defender than Gerald Wallace because "omg he blocks so many shots!" Wallace blocks less shots than Smith, yet is widely acclaimed as a better defender.
  11. Shot blocking doesn't make someone a better defender. JaVale McGee blocks shots left and right but his overall defense is atrocious. I'd take Wallace because of his ability to truly lock down players, and he has the ability to grab an uncanny amount of rebounds at his height. He is also a better shooter, and seems to be an overall more reliable offensive weapon. The only edge Smith has over Wallace is shot blocking and dunking in my opinion.
  12. Happy birthday to Guru and the REAL Swish...
  13. Iggy will most likely be shopped around now that Turner has been added and they play similarly already. Holliday has the potential to be a good point guard, but he isn't great yet. Keep him with Turner to start building a young core group. There is literally a 0% chance Brand becomes a 20/10 guy... so he will most likely be gone. The Sixers are trying hard to get rid of him if you didn't know that.
  14. A 2k developer has confirmed this is actual 2k11 gameplay.
  15. Yeah no major differences, but then again there isn't a huge need to make any. A few tweaks to the gameplay, removing as many glitches as possible, polishing up the presentation, and obviously updating the rosters is really all the game needs. The Jordan modes and Classic Teams will add some extra fun to the game as well.
  16. Perkins will undoubtedly be out until almost the halfway point of next season.
  17. Not sure if anyone has seen these, but a few videos were leaked from a German video game convention. Looks very fluid considering it's an early stage demo. Here's a few random one's I decided to post: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2pT4Wtx11w&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZZ866bw-Is&feature=related
  18. Doom and GoldenEye were always my favorites growing up.
  19. In regards to how they performed against their own competition, the edge goes to the '86 Celtics. Defensively both teams were similar, but with the dominating offense of Bird's Celtics, that just about pushes them over the top. The defensive FG% for the '06 Celtics is amazing though, but to have a more efficient offense and the same outcome at the end of the year (NBA champs) there's no questioning who the better team was.
  20. Roger Mason Jr, Ben Gordon, Tayshaun Prince
  21. A QB's poor play can be made up by having a good offensive line, reliable receivers, and a decent running game. With a pitcher, they are alone in the outcome of how the ball is hit. Outfielders and basemen can't assist the outcome of the pitch, that responsibility lies solely on the pitcher's shoulders.
  22. Once Gilbert is undoubtedly traded away for most likely an unneeded talent with an expiring contract, Hinrich will most definitely be put in the starting 2 spot. Being a solid offensive player already, his perimeter defense (one of our biggest long term struggles) gives us an entirely new edge. I recall a statistic showing that Gilbert allowed more than 60% of the shots he guarded to go in, with Hinrich's being significantly lower. He is a perfect compliment to Wall in the backcourt, and I feel they can work well off of each other. Hinrich didn't shoot the ball well last year, but if he can reacquire a consistent offensive game, Wall could help turn him into a solid offensive force by giving him some open perimeter looks.
  23. I don't think hypocritical is the right word choice there. But the legend of Bob Marley can't be touched by Tupac or any rapper for that matter. As previously mentioned, Tupac's death contributes to the meaning of his music these days, and the mystery that he may still be alive. Marley was one of the early musical revolutionists, and therefore is missed much more world wide. The comparison isn't close. Those who choose Tupac have either not listened to Bob Marley or haven't taken the time to understand his musical significance.
  24. Lol I don't get you man. All you do here is stir controversy with douchebag posts and insulting sarcasm. Round of applause for your success on that.
  25. LOL WOW... you really think those are the same? Intentional murder compared to a car accident that resulted in multiple deaths... clearly spending so much time around Pokemon cards has clouded your overall judgment of death.
