Only roster updates are synced into Association mode I believe. If a player is injured, they're usually just put as an inactive reserve. If you do fantasy draft though, the injuries don't matter, they'll just play in their usual role. Injured players like Yao are only unusable online.

I agree with your post except for the end, last night he had the highest efficiency on the team and hit nearly 50% of his shots. Seems pretty efficient to me.

Our starters are going to be dead for this game. Coming off of a double OT game last night in which all of our starters played nearly an hour each in the game, should be brutal.

Yeah man, My Player mode is glitched as [expletive]. If you go to a new team, your player gets cloned and remains on the original team as well. Also, the stats are unrealistic at 5 minutes, and if you make them any longer the scores end up being huge like 160-148 or something. 2k10 is just a big fail.

I'm not big on playing online with sports games, so if the patch actually improves help defense and defensive awareness (just defense overall actually...) then I'll be happy enough. I do fantasy draft Association mode only, but I've pretty much had it with the giant lanes that are constantly open for people to drive in on me. I gave Live a try, and it isn't that bad. It's unrealistic as hell but it's really fun.
