We (George Mason) almost gave Nova their second loss early in the season. 69-68 was the final score, but [expletive]ing Andre Cornelius didn't even get a shot off in the closing seconds to potentially win us the game.

If DeRozan isn't still hurt.

GO GERALD WALLACE

Lol I like the Jamison comparison. Sounds more clear, I was just confused because I didn't really see how someone with a very high post count can be underrated.

And it's out for the 360, PS3, and PC. You can play as a marine, predator, or alien and they really worked on balancing the advantages and disadvantages between all of them so it's fair game between them. Looks amazing and I'll be getting it the day it comes out.

I'm with Poe on this, I don't really understand the underrated poster thing. I would think the nominees would be the "silent but contributing" members, which would mean members who don't have many posts but still contribute plenty. I don't see why I would be nominated for it when I have one of the highest post counts. But whatever, it's nice to be nominated lol.

They will definitely be putting Lebron and Bosh higher up on their priority list, which is why I don't see Gilbert being moved to another team until late in the offseason. He is sort of a "backup plan", so to speak, for any team that fails to sign one of the big name free agents this summer. If Wade decides to stay with you guys, and you manage to acquire Gilbert, I'd call that a very successful offseason for you guys.
-
Yeah that's what I think is going to happen. A void is highly unlikely, and Gilbert returning to us is even more unlikely. If he isn't traded, he'll be bought out. Miami is one of a couple good suitors for him. New York will definitely make a push to get him as well.

Iverson's presence is ruining this particular all-star game. But whatever, I love the decisions made for the reserves, it's just sad Horford edged out Jamison.
-
Happy to see Rose, Williams, Durant, Wallace, and Randolph in it the most. They all were shoe-ins for the all star game as far as I was concerned. Congrats to all of them.
-
True true, I don't see any team taking him in as the first option on offense. He would be a great starting point guard and backup shooting guard for the Heat, so if you guys get him, that'd be good. The only question is whether or not his contract will be bought out or voided by our team.
-
The only problem would be Gilbert accepting the role as the second option. He's used to having the ball in his hands most of the time, and moving from being the star to the number 2 player could cause some problems and he would probably play even more inefficiently. However, I do remember the rumors about the Heat really wanting Iverson, so the front desk must have some idea that a shoot first point guard would be the perfect compliment to Wade. Who knows, but I'm sure Gilbert would love to play in Miami.

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2010/jan/27/sources-grizzlies-zach-randolph-all-star/ ------ Good for him, the man has really stepped his game up and has not played like the ball stopper he has usually been throughout his career.
-
Having a backcourt with 2 shoot first guards probably won't be best for you. I don't see Gilbert and Wade pairing up well together.
-
Well he had 10 offensive rebounds, which were obtained from his own missed shots in his poor shooting night. So those 2 definitely factor one another. As for the free throw shooting, well, he had a lucky night.

Agreed, he's my favorite commentator. Very funny and knowledgeable. Although I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

San Antonio with a 22 point lead at halftime. Horrid shooting by Atlanta.

Didn't know that part. Sounds good then.

Eh, seems a bit unnecessary to me. Don't see why we can't just pin threads in the General NBA discussions for each event.

Gilbert Arenas Suspended For Rest Of The Season
JWaLL replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
Seems fair to me. I try to ignore all of the hatred comments who suggest he should be banned for life just because of his bad reputation as an immature and injury prone shoot first point guard. I'm fine with this, but it kinda sucks we'll still be stuck with his contract, doesn't sound like we're going to resort to a buyout. Voiding his contract is far out of the question and will not happen. -
It's hard to speak against your home commentators, I understand. But even you have to admit the Cavs commentators are pretty [expletive]ty. The color commentator is very unprofessional and literally laughs and pokes fun at players who get injured on opposing teams at times.

Glen 'Big Baby' Davis wants a new nickname

KG's expletive doesn't roll off the tongue very well. -
Doesn't help or doesn't hurt? I'd consider it pretty damn beneficial is Nash was mentoring me as a backup point guard. Anyway, I'll go with Dragic. He's bigger, younger (I think), and has a nicer shooting touch.
