  1. You'd want to walk around in public with "HOMO" printed on your back?
  2. I was only on the site for 2 years I believe, but always visited back when it was first created. This board has come a long way, can't believe it's been 5 years. We should try out a dark skin.
  3. Wow dude that's sick, must be cool to design stuff for a pro.
  4. Kind of an unusual comparison, one is a PF/SF, the other is a C/PF. But Horford easily wins this comparison. More efficient scorer, much better defender and rebounder, the only advantage Lewis has is 3 point shooting.
  5. There's way too many "rumored teams" that are showing interest in him, where I just consider this another bland and probably false rumor. I have a feeling Stoudemire won't be going anywhere.
  6. Hehe, no Varejao for the sixth man award, not even an honorable mention. I was right. And Jedi, the way you stated it made it sound like his defense naturally improved because he stopped shooting 3s, which makes no sense. Changing one aspect of your offense doesn't really reflect on your ability on the defensive end.
  7. I can't stand the Cavs announcers. Whoever does the color commentary doesn't know [expletive]. I remember watching them play the Rockets and Ariza got injured and was holding his face, and the color commentator was like "Ohhh boo hoo are you hurt? HEH HEH HEH!!" The Celtics announcers are also very annoying in my opinion, and overly favorable to their team. All bias aside, I love the Wizards commentators, and they are always fairly neutral when it comes to questionable calls and will openly admit when a Wizard gets away with a foul or travel. They also do a great job of analyzing the skills of the individual players on the opposing teams. Just great analysts. Steve Buckhantz has had his funny moments when teams shoot game winners against us however haha: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5d097fAWeI
  8. Wow... I did not expect to see that. There goes his good media image.

    Blu.

The pixels are kinda random, but other than that it's sick, good job.
  10. It depends on who they trade Amare for. If they're going for expirings and young talent, then no I don't see them competing. If they're trading him for more talent, then who knows. It's really a wait-and-see process, the Suns have rumored shopping Amare for almost a year right now, so who knows that they're really targeting.
  11. Do it Warriors, you guys need to rebuild like us and this is definitely a step in the right direction.
  12. Why would they need to trade Nash? I don't see the need, unless Amare is traded to the Wolves for a deal that includes the rights to Rubio. Then I could see a potential Nash deal.
  13. The Jose Calderon one was my favorite. The Bargnani one was just bizarre haha.
  14. Jackson was a forward on the Warriors, but he's primarily been the shooting guard for the Bobcats so his all star possibility shouldn't really interfere with Jamison's consideration. I really wish the team's record didn't play as much of a factor in the all star selection, but as you said, being on a 14-29 team can't be ignored.
  15. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4856909 Good riddance, I hope I never see his face in the league again. Fearing for his life? Bull[expletive]...
  16. The players would probably get WNBA-sized contracts.
  17. If KG's injury status is even as minor as day-to-day, I wouldn't risk playing him even one minute in the game. He already earned the all star spot, let him just enjoy the weekend by watching the game in street clothes on the side, and let someone else fill in for him.
  18. I assume Z wouldn't be waived and then resigned by the Cavs in this deal. If this goes down, great steal for the Cavs... <_<
  19. Spencer Hawes is a solid offensive center, but his rebounding needs work and he is a pretty weak defender. He's only averaging 5.8 rpg this year, and most of the rebounding is done by the lanky Jason Thompson. The center should be their primary focus, and once Martin is gone they can move Tyreke to the 2 position and play Udrih at the point, or just pursue a more "true" point guard this offseason.
  20. And to think Kevin Martin was once known as one of the most efficient scorers in the league. Him and Tyreke just don't pair up well. I think seven games at this point, all being losses, is enough proof that he needs to go. They should trade him for a center, considering rebounding is one of their weakest team abilities.
  21. Jamison has been going through multiple injuries as well, let's not forget. His shoulder is the most significant one, but he's taken many beatings this semester. Statistically, Josh Smith and Paul Pierce are not more deserving than Jamison. If we are going to strongly factor in the teams' records, then you could argue that they are. But as far as individual performances go, I would put Jamison over those two. Obviously Gerald Wallace and Bosh are more deserving, but with KG potentially sitting out of the ASG, that leaves another open spot for a forward, possibly Jamison. So we'll see.
  22. Granger? wtf? I understand Bosh and Gerald Wallace obviously, but Granger? Hell no, not the way he's playing this season. He was hurt for a while, and is barely scoring more than Jamison, with much less rebounds. Josh Smith is another name to throw in the list of potentially more deserving forwards.
