All they did was laugh at the unexpected gesture that Gilbert did. It was already stated that Gilbert did it out of his own will without telling anyone and some of the other players just went along with it. Fined for laughing is ridiculous, but whatever. It'll benefit us anyway and hopefully make the goofball players on our team more mature.

The fine is a bit much, but it will definitely have a good impact on our team. Maybe all of these past incidences will whip our team into shape so they can start focusing on winning.

After last night's play, I think we should hold off on trading anyone until we get closer to the trade deadline. Mike is back, Gilbert is gone. Let's see how this works out.

Your post is pretty unorganized and confusing so I'm just gonna go ahead and answer the title of this topic. I think talent wise, no we are not a better team without Arenas. But last night we played with a sense of urgency and purpose, which is why I think we prevailed. Jamison's speech definitely sparked that urgency to our team, and I think everyone on the roster is on the same page in regards to turning our reputation back around to be a contender in the East and not a "joke" franchise in the NBA. It's good to have some time away from Gilbert for a while. He may never come back to the Wizards again, who knows.

Undergrad does matter to an extent man. If you just keep the bare minimum gpa, it'll be hard find a job in this economy. I'm shooting for dean's list next semester. To update everyone, I'm only getting a 33% refund, but the grade is staying put for some reason. I have NO idea why, but I'm tired of fighting because I spent most of my last 2 days being on hold when calling the school listening to [expletive]ty waiting music and talking to employees who have real attitudes when you ask questions. Oh well...
