Huh? The class shouldn't have been included at all. If it was left out like I planned, I wouldn't be worrying about it at all. They put the class back in my schedule and gave me an F instead of a withdrawal so my gpa dropped more than .5 points. You can't possibly see an opposing side to this.

Exactly. They said they aren't in position to adjust grades, and the Dean won't make an exception either... This is so [expletive]ed up, no one deserves to have to deal with this. I could possibly sue the school because I was still charged for taking the class so they just stole $1,000 from me because they made a mistake...

I have literally never been more angry at anything in my entire life right now. I just got an email today saying I've been placed on academic probation because my GPA was lower than a 2.0... WTF? My gpa was a 2.5, which isn't great because it was the first semester of my freshman year and I was being lazy, but that isn't academic probation. So obviously I called in the Office of Registration to see why I received this email. Turns out... my Calculus class was both withdrawn AND included as a failing grade. Doesn't make sense? Well I looked at it, and I dropped the class in the middle of the semester due to the incompetence of the teacher and the entire class was failing except 4 students, so the class shouldn't have been included. HOWEVER, on my final glitched transcript which I just saw in the email, it was re-included in and it says F. Apparently my withdrawal never registered and it just counted as me skipping the class over and over and over and missing the final, which obviously would result in a failure. "There is nothing we can do, I'm sorry." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Are the office people that incompetent where it is OBVIOUS that I registered for withdrawal, WHICH IT SAYS ON THE WEBSITE? So now... I have to quit my campus job, my parents are furious because they think I'm making an excuse (go figure...), AND I can only register for 13 credit hours, so since I dropped my class last semester, I will finish my first year with only 25 credits when I need 30 to be on track. So now I have to take 5 credits over the summer which will basically removes the word "vacation" from "summer vacation." [expletive] my life, and this one glitch in the system could cost me horribly in the future....

Crittenton loaded a gun in front of Gilbert after previously threatening to shoot him in his knee. Gilbert placed unloaded guns on a chair with a note as a prank. If Crittenton's gun is found, I can't possibly imagine him being punished as much or less than Gilbert. What Crittenton did is jail-worthy.

Because Gilbert had the guns on workplace property. Delonte was just riding around in Maryland and he's apparently still being investigated. I can't believe people are suggesting that Gilbert should be banned for LIFE from the NBA for this. Ron Artest punched multiple PAYING FANS after jumping into the stands, Stephen Jackson shot 5 bullets in the air outside of a fight club, Delonte West, as you mentioned, had multiple loaded guns and a shotgun in a guitar case, and Sebastian Telfair had a loaded gun on a plane. None of the mentioned players received a punishment near what Gilbert is expected to receive. Gilbert isn't a thug, nor did he threaten anyone or put anyone in any danger. He's a goofball who used bad judgement to turn a joke into a minor punishable act.

Great article. Although I want nothing more than to have Gil's contract removed from our team so he can sign somewhere else, I still think a punishment worse than a suspension for the remainder of the season is way too harsh. If the teammates, including a class act like Antawn Jamison, were laughing at his finger guns, that CLEARLY means that the whole situation was not a big deal, and simply a practical joke gone horribly wrong because the teammates know more about this whole thing than anybody.

Well if we're referring to the top 10 shooting guards who have had the best careers and are still playing, as opposed to the best shooting guards this season only, then yeah Ray would be there. But if we're talking about performance right now, Ray isn't a top 10, and would probably barely hit the top 15.

Yeah I agree, that pre-game act was incredibly immature and disrespectful to the league and Stern. There's no doubting he hasn't been handling this whole situation the best he could, but anyone who knows enough about this whole situation knows that the true threatening act was committed by Crittenton. He's lucky they can't find the loaded gun that he disposed of so he gets off empty handed, and Gilbert gets a big kick in the [expletive] from the league, the media, and possibly the law.

You're ranking Ray Allen over Iggy, JJ, and Monta...?

Because Crittenton isn't getting punished, and he loaded up a gun in front of Gilbert as a way of showing he didn't need to borrow one. To me that deserves a much worse punishment than anything Gilbert is going to get.

Probably not. He's still being immature regardless of the situation. With his every hour posts on twitter rambling on about the situation, and his pre-game finger gun thing was a ridiculous thing to do in this situation. There are better ways to cover up for someone.

Yeah, it's definitely giving me a headache with all of these back and forth stories containing very different scenarios. If this is true, then I really feel bad for Gilbert.

I'm glad McGee at least saw some floor time, I wonder why Mike Miller didn't get on the floor when he was considered "likely" for tonight. Oh well, our heads aren't in the right place right now with all of the [expletive] going on lately. Hopefully we blow this team up soon so we can get right on rebuilding.
