I definitely think he will have a solid career. Superstar status is highly unlikely, but I could see him being a capable starter or sixth man in the future.

I'm waiting for the next patch to fix a few errors in My Player before I start it. Apparently even after the recent patch, people still have the glitch where the 2k Insider will inform you that you need to make a major career decision and choose among one of few teams who make you an offer to sign with their team, but there are no teams available to choose from. There are plenty of things that need to be fixed still. Until then, I'll stick to Association Mode for the time being.

This game was by far our worst performance of the season. It seemed like without Mike Miller on the floor, our offense seemed very unorganized and we settled for way too many contested mid-range jump shots. The absence of Jamison obviously isn't helping either... I really hope we get our act together for the next game against Phoenix. I continue to be appalled by Stevenson's performance each night, and Nick Young has clearly been having a rough start to the season. We need our two starters for us to be back to the team we were expected to be.

I agree, there is a fine line between being tough and being stupid. Mike Miller is as tough as they come, but I really think he should have just sat out the rest of the game after the first injury. His continued play may have just cost him an extra 4 games watching from the bench in street clothes. And believe me, I would love nothing more than to have Stevenson waived/traded. His defense has always been overrated, but this year, it's just awful. Plus he can't even hit open shots, let alone free throws. Our backcourt talent is decent enough where we don't need a guy like him, and he would never assume the role as a reserve so I am all for trading or dumping him. Hopefully we'll have better luck against the Pacers, because the last few minutes of this game were painful.

Chris Paul simply tore it up today, and that was an impressive clutch shot by Peja in the end of the 4th.

Not the best performance by Washington so far this season. Gilbert and Caron played great as expected, but Blatche made a lot of poor shot selections, Haywood made a lot of poor decisions as well, and Stevenson continued to disappoint us with his poor shooting and inability to help the team when it counts. I wish Gilbert looked to pass more than take some of those tough 3 pointers. He played much more efficiently against the Nets, but all in all he had a decent game. I hope Mike Miller's injury isn't too serious... it was originally diagnosed as a minor left shoulder sprain, but he fell on it again after continuing to play and it looks like it might be more serious now.

They're going to patch it according to one of the devs on the 2k board, they just aren't sure when it's going to be released. Might be late October.

I've been reading mostly complaints about it over at the 2k boards. Apparently you are stuck only playing 5 minute quarters, and if you increase the quarter length the game totals end up being like 200-194 or something. I hope it isn't as glitchy and frustrating as some people make it out to be. We'll see, I might head over to our university mall later and pick it up. I just hope it's 60 bucks well spent if I'm only going to play it every now and then.

My main focus was on association mode. If it's drastically improved then I might get it. If it's basically the same and the trade A.I isn't improved, I might just stick with 2k9.

Moderate Democrat.

Flip was recently quoted as saying this finger injury could last the whole season. It would never keep him out of a game, but could potentially limit his game. He's been playing "ok" in the preseason, I'm enjoying watching him pass more than chuck up daring shots.

I haven't played my xbox in over a month now so if I were to get 2k10 I'd only play it ever now and then. Is it worth getting or should I just keep playing 2k9 with the updated roster I downloaded off of 2kshare?
-
Been a while people, what's good? I'm loving the college life so far.
-
But you know what I look like lol.

Screenshot or it didn't happen.

Oh well that would work out pretty well. Let this be my application for the Wizards' team captain spot.

I don't think they should be given moderator powers... we'd have 30 moderators haha. Maybe just a group separate from "OTR Member" to called like OTR Team Captain.
-
LOL I was just thinking that.
-
No I meant like downloading a user created roster, which are most commonly up to date rosters. I'm sure there will be numerous people who continue to play 2k9 while 2k10 is out and will still update rosters.
-
It's definitely a step up in every aspect. If you aren't a big xbox live player or don't want to spend too much money then I would just download the most up to date rosters on 2k9 and play that. We aren't going to see any drastic changes in basketball games from this point on.

Yup, there's a flu virus floating around right now. I finally recovered 3 days ago, but I was pretty sick for a week. Not fun stuff.
-
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
-
You obviously haven't watched enough Wizards games to draw a conclusion like that. I would definitely not take Rose over a healthy Gilbert. If ALL he did was chuck up random shots, then they wouldn't have a 500 or above record while having to compensate for a "pitiful" performance like this, as you claim it to be.

I hope you realize I'm actually not a ginger hahaha. It's reddish brown and I'm tan. Gingers are weird looking with 9808970897 freckles and super curly hair.

Damnnnnn this is a HUGE improvement over 2k9. And I'm loving the polished commentary. Finally some real emotion. No more bogus "WOAH.....".
