Because he needs to come to Portland, that's why. He'd be the perfect fit for us.

You make some great points RD. Oden does have a much better offensive game than Ben but the defense is very similar.

I knew that he was a good defender, I was just hoping that Oden would be able to capitalize on the major height advantage...But I guess not.

I was happy to see that Martell got his hops back. Like 5 minutes before that happened when Martell drove to the lane and got fouled, I was telling him that it would of been a dunk if he hadn't gotten hurt...but when I saw that, I was excited.

At this point, I think he definitely needs to be traded. Same with Prince as well.

He was actually quite bothered with Chuck Hayes who is obviously smaller and has quicker hands. I think Oden wasn't prepared to play against Hayes because Hayes kept on knocking the ball right out of his hands anytime he touched it. I was hoping he'd have a big scoring night with the undersized Hayes on him but Hayes played him very nicely.

Didn't get a chance to check out the game mainly because of the Blazer game but I'm definitely liking what he's doing. I need to get me some tickets to Wizards @ Blazers this season.

While it was a pretty decent dunk (I wasn't expecting him to do that during the game when I was watching it) but I liked Martell's dunk on Chuck Hayes, wouldn't mind that one as a poster.

You could add Christian to the list but he's with WWE...

I'm not surprised by people picking Dwight over LeBron and Kobe. My league just had a re-draft that saw Dwight go with the first pick and LeBron with the 2nd. Dwight is also teamed up with Yao as well. Anyways, I would probably want LeBron because that's pretty much Portland's position that doesn't have a really well known player.

Oden was a monster on the defensive end, Dre Mill dished the hell out of the ball, and Outlaw was great off the bench. LaMarcus kept getting silly fouls though. Great start, somewhat bad finish. Those 100 turnovers on our part just wasn't good.

He definitely does not deserve to be making around the same amount as Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Steve Nash, or Tony Parker. I do think this is a mistake on his part as they offered about the amount he should be getting. He's acting as if he's a 20ppg franchise player. He's not and he needs to realize that.

What could this mean for dear ol' Delonte West?! I hope they do pick him up, Daniels is a great role player off the bench, he doesn't abuse his wife (or he doesn't get caught) and he doesn't speed on a motorcycle with guns loaded on him (or he hasn't gotten caught). He would provide a great spark off the bench along with Boobie and Zydrunas. They should definitely go for it.

I would imagine Martell will be starting now unless Nate puts Roy at the three and Rudy at the two...Batum will be gone for a couple of months now with his shoulder injury.

If he wasn't on thin ice before...now he is. At least they've got Anthony Parker now.

I didn't laugh the first time I watched it. I knew what was going to happen. Then I watched it again and couldn't stop laughing. I proceeded to watch it again and laughed some more. Good find, hah.

They also have Mbenga and he's been playing pretty decently in the preseason, holding his own.

I don't really follow the Clippers but they do have a pretty decent team, just need to gel right and what not. Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, Blake Griffen, and Chris Kaman/Marcus Camby. I actually really like Eric Gordon on this team, one of my clear favorite players on the Clippers along with Bassy Telfair (I've liked him ever since his Blazer days and still follow the teams he plays for). In 2k10 when I was playing against my cousin, I torched his [expletive] with Gordon and Telfair (who had something like 11 assists). This team has some glimmer of hope, on paper, they look like an above decent squad.

I'll more than likely be going to check out the movie in theaters. I love the Saw series.
