  1. The dude can score. When I was reading this topic and saw that you mentioned Thornton, I went to ESPN.com and checked out the Hornets boxscore to see how much he scored before realizing that he no longer played for them anymore. I felt silly afterwards.
  2. The kid was on fire, it was like he couldn't miss shooting out there. Martell needs to play more, needs to be a starter in my opinion.
  3. It sounds like Chris Bosh should definitely go through the intense summer camp LaMarcus Aldridge went through last summer. Aldridge bulked up a bit, gained some muscle and has become fearless in the paint adding a ton of post moves in the middle and it's really paid off for him this year. Aldridge used to rely on his mid range jump shot all the time and it greatly pissed me off. Now he's a threat down low and I love it. Bosh needs to go through that camp and he wont regret it. I'll see if I can find the link in which it describes the workout he went through.
  4. I've never liked Cena at all, even when he was a heel when he first entered the WWE. I'd probably start watching more of wrestling if Cena just went away. I don't like him at all, he's got very stale moves. He's just not entertaining at all. I can't bring myself to watch his matches, it's just painful for me. And I don't like him on the mic either. To me, he was trying to be like the Rock to much when cutting promos whether it be in the ring or backstage. I can't take him seriously at all and he never makes me laugh.
  5. Camby is a very underrated despite his age. Not only is he a great defensive player, he constantly is going for rebounds even when they're way out of his reach. He is a great passing center (ask LaMarcus Aldridge, who has gotten at least 10+ oops from Camby this) and his mid range shot is better than Hibbert's. Camby is a savy veteran player who knows how to play the game very well. As for the topic itself, I don't know who I'd take...Maybe Noah or Hibbert as a backup center for Camby.
  6. Oh definitely. The Rose Garden is probably one of the loudest arenas in the entire league.
  7. The fact that the Rat and his friends decided to pick on someone while recording it to humiliate him (as I assume they were going to put it up on Facebook and Youtube as soon as they were done picking on the victim), I think the Rat got what he deserved. Sure, the body slam was very dangerous and it could have messed the Rat up beyond the intention, but he thought in his mind that it would be a good idea to start a fight, to look badass in front of his friends, to try and impress the girls standing by, to put it up for the world to see, only to get his ass kicked. I'm not for the body slam but I am definitely for Casey standing up for himself. And like the Truth said, they're kids. They aren't thinking about the possible risks that they can cause to each other. Casey took care of the Rat the best way he thought he could on instinct and fast thinking. He's not standing there trying to process the most efficient way to stop the Rat, he just got punched in the face, had to block at least 2-5 more punches thrown by the kid with others cheering the Rat on, he reacted instantly. The Rat shouldn't have started anything to begin with. He took the risk of picking on someone almost three times his size and in the end, he paid for it.
  8. Dallas started the first 9 minutes of the game going 11-11 and right now, Portland has complete control of the game. Let's keep it up!
  9. Probably not in Portland, especially since we lost 2 in a row on the road. Portland is hungry for a win. Though, I'm pretty sure Marcus Camby will not be playing, I still think we'll pull away with the win.
  10. The edit feature isn't working on my work computer (because my work computer is a POS), otherwise I would have edited... I have 160 that Slash has guitared on. 88 - Guns N Roses 26 Slash's Snakeput 26 Velvet Revolver 14 Slash (solo album) 2 Alice Cooper 2 Duff McKagan/Loaded 2 Lenny Kravitz
  11. Worst topic ever. Why even post crap like this Yugo? Seriously.

  13. Yeah, in his prime. Surely Pippen doesn't think that 48 year old Michael Jordan would be able to score 100 points in a game today.
  14. How could you guys possibly think he's talking about Jordan now. He's obviously talking about prime Jordan.
  15. I'm gonna have to side with AL and Stern on this one (as far as all the good things Stern has done for the league, not what he said to SVG). I think the recent changes to the league have been a great idea. And I'm pretty sure the league looks at every technical foul that's called by the refs to see if it was justified, hence why Howard, Amare, and others have had techs taken back. I like that the NBA has become more professional with the changes. As a player, you've got to adjust to the rules of the game. That'd be like if Real all of a sudden put back the word censors and didn't allow bashing of members at all. If you did that, you'd get punished and learn from it. You'd have to adjust to the new rules. It's really not that big of a deal, players will adjust and you'll keep watching the game. I used to hate Stern a couple years back but I think he's been a damn good commish for the NBA. He's done so much for the league and for the most part, it's paid off and made the game better.
  16. This isn't the Harlem Globetrotters. So no, I don't think so at all.
  17. Please tell me you posted that from your phone or iPod... Symphathy for the Devil - Guns N Roses
