Didn't get a chance to watch the entire game, only caught the first quarter and the first 5 minutes of the 2nd before I went to play ball. Tough tough loss to Miami without Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, Elliot Williams, and SEAN MARKS. Joel Przybilla should have played more I think. But damn, I knew LA was going to rip Miami. 31 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, 1 block on 12-23 from the field. Patty Mills has really stepped up his game, I had no idea he had this in him. I guess sitting on the bench all the time and waiting patiently really paid off. I think I like him more than Armon Johnson.

He's got 29 points in the first half and there is still about a minute left. -

He's already made 5 three pointers in JUST the first quarter. -
I've got an Epiphone LP Special II as well for my beginner guitar (was like $230 for guitar, amp, case), though I also went ahead and bought a Schecter Damien Elite and I fell in love with it. I'm currently letting my younger cousin borrow my Special II and my Schecter I play every so often. Though I've kind of neglected it the past couple months and need to pick it back up. When I first got it though, I played it every day for 3 months.

Kevin Martins Incredible Night
Dr. Feelgood replied to htown11's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
Well, we were able to shut him down the other night when we played Houston in Portland, but then he torched us. Good thing no one else on Houston showed up to help him out. -
Kevin Love is just ridiculous
Dr. Feelgood replied to Dash's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
Well, he does deserve to be an All-Star but there are other players ahead of him who will likely go before him. It's sad really. -
Two killed in drive by, in my hometown

I remember about 3-4 years back, I was watching the Blazer game, it was the 4th quarter, tight game with 2 minutes left and all of a sudden the power goes out. I was thinking "WTF!" and I went to the circuit breaker to see if that was the problem. Well, it turns out that the house right across the street from mine (5 second walk) had SWAT cars and police cars surrounding the house. There was a standoff for about an hour, we were told to go back inside and to lock our doors. The power was shut off on the entire block. Turns out, the family was wanted for ID theft and had guns and stuff. It ended peacefully with no one getting hurt, just tear gas being thrown through the window and what not. Still though, that was kind of scary. Nothing like yours though were people were shot and killed... -
Only a bit harder but not much. Aldridge has been stepping up in Roy's absence and I'm loving it. Kudos to Nate for sticking with Patty Mills, Rudy Fernandez, Nicolas Batum, Dante Cunningham, and LaMarcus Aldridge down the stretch of the 4th quarter. Dre Mill, Matthews, and Camby didn't come back until it got down to a free throw contest. Freaking Patty Mills, wow. 14 points on 5-9 shooting and 4-7 from behind the arc. Rudy hit a tough tough shot with the shot clock winding down to put the Blazers in the lead for good. Great close by the Blazers.

Camby with 10 points and 18 rebounds while LaMarcus has 20 points and 9 boards. Patty Mills has just tied the game with a three.

I can promise you it wont be the Celtics. It'll be the Lakers. Phil Jackson wins championships in 3s. They're on two right now.

Oh yeah, definitely playing some Tenacious D! http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/7898/tenaciousdt.jpg

I'm pretty sure the game is over but Portland has a nasty habit of letting teams get right back into the game.
-
Wow, what a shot by Batum. Same thing that happened with Martin early, his feet never touched the floor. The game has completely shifted in favor of the Blazers.
-
Some two buckets for the Blazers right there, totally changed the tempo of the game just like that.
-
I think it still counted because he was still in the air and his feet never touched the floor.
-
Patty Mill is really stepping up right now, he's got 10 points off the bench. I'm really starting to like this kid.
-
Joel Przybilla has never made a three point shot in the 11+ years he's been in the NBA. He's also only attempted 3 of them, which I'm going to assume where last second shots at the buzzer before the quarter ended. Also, Dante Cunningham, who plays SG, SF, and PF for the Blazers, has not made a three point shot in his career despite seeing plenty of bench minutes.
-
I was shocked to see that from Kobe. He hasn't done something like that in forever it seems.

Roy Sidelined Indefinitely
Dr. Feelgood replied to The Regime's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
Eh...it's a tough call. I love all those players (have all three of their jerseys), I think I would give them another year. Maybe trade Miller in the right trade to bring in someone else. I don't really know. -

I would be very against trading LaMarcus. If you would have asked me last season if I wanted to trade Aldridge, I'd be for it but he's shown great maturity and I think he'll finally have the season we've been waiting for him to have. Though, I still see us as a playoff contender, just not a championship contender. I once thought we had the best chance at taking the Lakers in a 7 game series...not now though. It'd be a great 5-6 game series. -
He has been lately. He's been killing it and it'll be a close race for most improved between him, Love, and Beasley.
