  1. I would definitely want to know what that is, then
  2. What I'm saying is that if they all don't win it this year, the person that still has the best shot is Kobe.
  3. Yep, I forgot he was so superb on D compared to Artest
  4. I just want to add this, when December 14 comes around this year, I will officially say that Vanessa could get it any day of the week. The nudes she had weren't nice because she wasn't done-up makeup-wise, but her body was still nice. She's going to get pretty nice in the coming years.
  5. Crooked as in the person running the bank for the game sometimes wasn't as honest as they needed to be.
  6. I can probably try that out.
  7. We'll be around the same win total as last season. Where we're going to see the major improvement is not winning games strictly on offense. I see our differential going up a little bit, which is what we needed to stay in contention.
  8. Well, he's right. He took the deal that Houston gave him, which was only the MLE. He's showing that he wanted to feel wanted by us, and apparently they didn't show that, which sucks, because he was a great player and great guy for us. He feels as if he is in a better situation. Well, we are definitely in a better situation.
  9. I've always liked Mike Seriously, I've value his pieces over Plashke's any day. Bill is wrong like it's his career. Bottom line, it's a good signing. Teams still thought we were not tough enough on June 29th. On June 30th they starting shaking.
  10. I see him staying. But I'm not sure if he's going to take a pay cut and not expect that starting role this season. He took his lumps last season coming off the bench. I think he's going to come back to Mitch saying "I wrote my check last year, now you right yours." Hopefully he concedes slightly.
  11. If Bynum continues to look like a lame duck at times, I see Josh Powell increasing his minutes this year. He did what he had to do when he came in games. Worked hard, actually boxed out, and hit some jumpers when needed. I was sad to see his minutes dwindle in the 'offs, but as we are retaining him, I'm hoping his work last year will be rewarded.
  12. Pretty simple...as said, he'll take that defensive pressure off Kobe so 24 doesn't have to worry about defending the big dogs in the critical moments. He can actually start out on them to slow their effectiveness in the beginnings of games and then Artest can continue slowing them down throughout the rest of the game. That side of the ball is going to get a breath of fresh air compared to the previous season.
  13. I didn't say Houston ran a freelance offense, but in any case, their offense allows more dribble interaction from more players than does our offense, which is why I'm not worried. As far as his deference to McGrady, the offense still plays a role in that. He will not have as many opportunities to choose his shot selection when he's in the Tri.
  14. I am actually going to give it a try. American Dad started off a little slow but got great, so this has the potential.

Granted the competition wasn't the best, but it just looked as if he were dominating whoever stood in front of him. Over his career, 33 PPG, 6 RPG, 6 APG in the 'offs. That can't be denied. Other than 3 years, he led the league in scoring in the 'offs. That is most likely in the top 5 of playoff stat lines over a career. By contrast, Kobe to this point, has produced 25, 5, and 5 in the 'offs. That's where most people see the comparison between them as going to Jordan. I do agree with you that Kobe is more skilled. It's pretty easy to see...Kobe has more ways to get his shot off and get to the basket. Jordan kept 2-3 moves in the bank and used those exclusively. But Kobe still has more work to do.
  16. RIP Steve...always a great guy on and off the field. What's going to happen next?
  17. Trouble, Clue, Life...Monopoly was too boring after a while...you'd have crooked bankers making deals with other buyers and people elongating the game way too long.
  18. Nah, we're more humid than you guys, but not by too much. Now Ames, IA, where I went to college, that is an unbearably humid place at times in the summer. I can handle any day in Dallas...in Ames, there were some days that you literally couldn't go outside until about 6 PM.
  19. What they were firing were only capable of traveling 300-400 miles. California is over 6000 miles away from N. Korea. We are fine.
  20. Went down to the pool, got some free hot dogs and chips, then came back and now we're just hanging out in the apartment. We won't do anything tonight as usual.
  21. Went to Iowa State University. Graduated May '07. Management and MIS (Management Information Systems).
  22. Better player offensively is Jefferson, better player defensively is Artest, although I've never seen RJ to be a slouch on that side of the ball. I would say, though that Ron brings more of an all-around game to your team than RJ would, even with the slight drop in offensive production. But for my team, in its current construction, Artest is far and away the better player out of the two.
