  1. Not enough basketballs on the team for Baron and Melo, not to mention Amar'e. Would you guys say a new coach is needed?
  2. I feel like the dunk contest hype got to him alot and has to do with it. People were riding him too hard during that all-star weekend. Dude could have done a regular one handed dunk and would have won the contest.
  3. lol at Pat Garrity. I'm surprised that Tracy McGrady isn't higher on this list. Jameer and Hedo are also among the top ten.
  4. That should have been a kickball violation. -_-
  5. Went to this game. Curry missed the game tying 3 at the buzzer.
  6. 3 mansions?! God damn, lol. How much can a dude possibly have.
  7. Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo. Homerism aside, I think Curry and Ellis can too.
  8. Should I trade Josh Smith for Ricky Rubio and Ray Allen in fantasy?!
  9. http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/images/photos/001/535/202/136060955_crop_650x440.jpg?1326955493 There are many teams that have been interested in Orlando Magic Center, Dwight Howard. Each team makes their own case in open letters to the best center in the league: The New Jersey Nets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Orlando Magic. Dear Dwight, Playing in New Jersey will benefit you in the long run. You will be playing alongside one of the best point guards in the league in Deron Williams. He has always been in the top of the league in assists, so you will love him feeding you the ball in the post. We also have some fantastic wing players. We have Anthony Morrow, who is the best shooter in the league. He ranks among the top five in most three-point attempts, but how can you hate on that when he is making nearly 45 percent of them? We also have Marshon Brooks who is looking real promising. He can take pressure off of you when you are getting double-teamed in the post. Think about it Dwight. Also, don’t forget that we are moving to Brooklyn soon. Who knows, if you play well enough, we can get you a cameo in a Jay-Z video. Dear Dwight, Before you say it, we know we have been in the playoffs only once in nearly 20 seasons. We know that we have a lot of work that needs to be done, but we are in the right process. We have new owners that are really into the team. We have hired Jerry West as one of our staff members in the front office and he will help us with basketball decisions. Coach Jackson also has a defensive mind state now, so you can excel in what you are most known for. Our attendance is also one of the highest in the league despite some of our struggles. The fans will back you up. Plus, your shoe line with Adidas will have great success here. With you, Monta Ellis and whoever else we decide to draft, I can guarantee you many playoff appearances and all the fan support you can ask for. Golden State is the place to be. Dear Dwight, We are a franchise of winning—the second-most championships in history, actually. We have a player that many consider the greatest of all time, Kobe Bryant. How could you not want to play in a purple and gold Laker jersey? We all know Kobe is dealing with injuries and age will soon get to him. That’s where we want you to be the face of our franchise. Lead the way for us to get many championships with Kobe and great role players on your side. We know another Los Angeles team wants you to play there, but I think you would much rather play for the “A” team of the city. Dear Dwight, Bad luck was in our past, now look at our roster. We have Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. Both of them are arguably the best in their positions. What is there to not like? Paul will dish you the ball and give you easy shots in the paint the whole game. Griffin will take the load of off you and you will not be double-teamed nearly as much as you will be with other teams. No one will even be talking about the Miami Heat's big three anymore once you tag along with Paul and Griffin. We will have the three best players in their respective positions. A dynasty you ask? The possibilities are endless. Dear Dwight, What do players like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan all have in common besides winning multiple championships? They all stayed with almost the same team their whole careers. I know it’s the popular thing to do right now Dwight, but do not leave Orlando. The fans here love you and we are willing to take the next step if you remain committed to being a Magic player for the rest of your career. This is where you belong. With a few draft picks, trades and signings, we can take you to the level where we need to be as an organization. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1030447-dear-dwight-five-open-letters-from-teams-that-need-howard
  10. Someone, give me a quick article idea.
  11. I really think Deron Williams is the best point guard in the league..
  12. [expletive] Kris Humpries. First he steals my wife then he destroys the Warriors.
  13. Finally off work and I can watch the closing minutes. Crazy how the Nets haven't won at home yet. I miss Morrow.
  14. But then again, it's the Warriors. This is how good he would be if he was in the d-league.
  15. I'm honestly surprised more players don't do this on a fastbreak.
  16. Haha, that's what I'm saying. Dude is getting alot of hate for this. Maybe because he was 1-11 shooting before that.
  17. http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/images/photos/001/533/348/110897251_crop_650x440.jpg?1326849498 When you think of the NBA’s most underrated players in the league, quite a few names can cross your mind. The list ranges from big men to sixth men, but there is no player in the league more under-appreciated than Golden State Warriors guard, Monta Ellis. The combo guard has been under the radar ever since he was drafted in the second round back in the 2005 draft class. Being a guard and coming out of the same draft as players such as Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Raymond Felton can be tough when you’re already a lesser known prospect. Starting off his career coming off the bench, Ellis was instantly a crowd favorite. Diving for loose balls, doing all the hustle plays just to get off the bench and show what he can do, Ellis had to play with a chip on his shoulder. It’s not often that combo guard becomes a successful player in the league. Coaches have a tough time placing them in the lineup. Monta would constantly have to either play point guard or the 2-guard, having to adjust to many guards in different sizes, speeds and defensive abilities. Ellis and coaches finally realized it was best for him to play shooting guard. At 6’3", Monta has always had to defend bigger guards. While many critics claim he’s a liability on defense, he has proved that he can hang with some of the best guards in the league in the past two seasons. When Ellis is not gambling for steals, he can be a good perimeter defender. Holding players like Brandon Roy and Kobe Bryant to bad shooting percentages had earned him recognition from Bryant and arguably the greatest coach of all time, Phil Jackson. Defense can be tough for Ellis because he plays a numerous amount of minutes. He has been among the league leaders in minutes for most of his career, and he’s doing it while running in the fast pace tempo of the Warriors offense. Many people do not see that when they claim Ellis can’t defend. With Coach Mark Jackson running the Warriors now with his committed defensive scheme, Ellis has even more of a chance to showcase that he can play well on both sides of the court. Everyone should already know Ellis’ offensive game is nasty. He is arguably the fastest and quickest player in the league, ball in his hands or not. There is a reason he was once nicknamed “the one man fast break.” Not only can Monta score in transition, but he can now score in the low post. Yes, Ellis the undersized shooting guard has developed a post game. He has a few moves and an amazing turnaround jumper that catches defenders off guard. Coach Jackson has utilized Ellis to the best of his abilities and his offensive game is complete. The playmaking abilities of Ellis are now vastly improved. With point guard Stephen Curry out with an ankle injury, Ellis has had to play a lot of point guard in the past couple of weeks. His vision has gotten much better as a result. A surprising stat is that Ellis is one of the only three players in the league that averages 20 points and seven assists per game this season. The other two players? LeBron James and Derrick Rose. Not a bad category of players to be in, and you would think that would get Ellis’ name bigger. While Ellis has not been an All-Star before in his career, the Western Conference guards have got to be one of the tougher spots when it comes to the selection process. Now with players like Deron Williams going to the East, Steve Nash getting older and Manu Ginobili being out with an injury, Ellis has got to be getting big-time consideration for an All-Star nod. The Warriors might not have a great record, but Blake Griffin’s Clippers and Kevin Love’s Timberwolves records were not the best last season either, and both made it. Some people say that Ellis is overrated because of the system he plays in, but the Warriors are not the same fast pace team they once were. Ellis now plays in more of a half-court offense. He is still one of the best scorers in the league and is now even making a case for being one of the best passers. His defense has also vastly improved. It’s time for Monta to stop being underestimated, unrecognized and underrated by the national media. Ellis is a top three shooting guard in the league behind Bryant and Dwyane Wade. It’s time he stops being under the radar and seen as one of the better players in the NBA. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1028289-the-most-underrated-player-in-the-nba-monta-ellis
  18. Did you find anything wrong with him doing this?
  19. Imo, I would rather build around a point guard than a small forward. Unless it's LeBron.
