  2. PRETENDERS OR CONTENDERS: LA Lakers Are the LA Lakers pretenders or contenders? This team was supposed to dominate from day one , but it's been quite the opposite. They might not even make the playoffs as predicted by Magic Johnson who said "It's over". Key problems: - Dwight Howard (He's not healthy / the same player that he was in Orlando) - Chemistry (Doesn't seem that they learned how to play with each other) - D'Antoni as the coach, he's an idiot.
  3. PRETENDERS OR CONTENDERS: Atlanta Hawks Are the Atlanta Hawks pretenders or contenders? They started the season very strong but are struggling very bad for a while now. Key problems: - Lack of #1 scorer / superstar - Josh Smith shoots too much jumpers / doesn't utilize his inside game as much as he should.
  4. Discuss everything related to wallets here, feel free to post a pic of your wallet as well. I have a PRL wallet but I'm looking to get something smaller.
  5. If you do, why do you smoke weed? If you don't, why do you not smoke weed?
  6. Taj Gibson had a great poster on someone and Josh Smith plays like a moron lol.
  7. Cleared my two PM's lol, you're the man Brandon. :glasses: What's the count at now?
  8. Thunder in 6. Real Deal - you should put a poll up like the last game or at least a set of questions so we can respond to them.
  9. A Gay-Deng swap would be excellent for both teams. Deng's inability to create for himself and for his teammates, lack of ballhanding skills, and court vision/passing make him overpaid player when he is being paid top dollar to do these things. He's peaked because this is the Deng we've seen since he's came into the league except that he's got a three point shot now and he would've had one earlier if Skiles didn't tell him to stop shooting threes. Deng's horrific at putting the ball on the floor and creating, it doesn't end up good at all. I think you're confusing Deng with Ben Gordon or John Salmons when they were here. One of the reasons to trade Deng is his huge salary because they could get someone similar but more athletic and better shot creator (Barnes) on a rookie deal and in two years Deng's going to demand his final payday because he's going to be 28 and remain the same player we've seen. Rose needs a second creator to help him out and ease the pressure off him.
  10. The team constructed right now without Rose is a playoff team and Rose would be ready by the 1st round at the latest because Thibs would manage his minutes more carefully this time. I believe this team with Rose could've made it to the finals this season but they would lose to the Thunder though.
  11. Recent reports have said Rose is doing well and is expected to be back around December/January. No, they should not tank.
  12. To trade or to not to trade Luol Deng? That's been a cause of controversy for numerous Chicago Bulls fans. PROS: - save money --> allows the bulls to pick up more pieces in free agency --> avoid the tax --> he's inline for an extension soon and he would want a ton of money for his final big payday. - get a similar guy who has the possibility of being better than deng (harrison barnes) --> Deng's peaked, WYSIWYG --> cheaper (rookie contract) CONS - lose a proven veteran / 'glue guy' of the team Put me down on the trade Deng bandwagon.
  13. I'd love to keep Taj but if we're getting a lottery pick for him, I'd pack his bags.

  15. Honestly, I knew the NBA wouldn't let Boston advance but at least they better make the game really close.
  16. Management has seen that Deng is not close enough to be a good #2 option, a great #3 though and Deng's contract restricts them from getting this elite #2 scorer to put with Rose. At least with Barnes, he's projected to be better than Deng is and the Bulls aren't restricted by Deng's contract anymore. At age 29, the Bulls will have to extend him and Deng would want another massive contract which would restrict the team again and currently his value is high. In a nutshell, he makes too much money, not worth the $13M next year or $14M after and he's only going to get older and have more injuries, and he's horrible at ball handling.
  17. It was a good movie, Hulk provided comedic relief.
  18. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c ... 1OQ8DD.DTL I wouldn't mind getting Deng for the #7 pick and picking up Barnes (if he's still there or at least trade up and get him).
  19. http://sulia.com/source/S-887551/ Good riddance, here's to Nash/Kidd/Miller/Delonte West coming here. Watson was horrible when Rose was gone in the playoffs, absolutely dreadful.
  20. I would let Kyle go or at least get some assets for him, he's not good at against real competition especially in the playoffs where he doesn't get open well or shoot well either.
  21. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story/_/id/8022675/forward-taj-gibson-hopes-work-long-term-deal-chicago-bulls Good to hear, I think he'll be back around January.
  22. I'm excited and I hope the Heat lose! I hope the Heat lose tomorrow, nothing would make me happier!
  23. All I want for Christmas is a Bulls & Bears win and some other things.
  24. I can't see LeBron winning it next season, a better argument can be said for Kevin Durant or Dwight Howard.
