They're 12-17 and 6-11 in their division, enough said. I watched the first ten minutes of the game, and they were flat out pathetic. Turnover after turnover, and the only time they ever scored was off a last second bail out shot.
-
Miami's had some hiccups in their rotations, they gave up a whole lot of open looks that quarter.
-
If it wasn't for Ryan Anderson the Heat would have buried this game already.
-
St. Johns was ranked too high. So much for that double bye.
-
This is a [expletive]ing video game.

Magic literally cant do shit with Dwight on the bench. Wade and Lebron are just taking turns toying with Orlando. Just no defensive discipline. Gilbert Arenas is done.
-
Wade and Lebron are both unstoppable thus far, neither guy can miss.
-
No more Gerald Wallace or Nazr Mohammad for the Bobcats, and we're supposed to get Matt Barnes back. We shouldn't have any troubles winning this one.
-
St. Johns isn't playing at their pace, they need to get out and run because they aren't getting anything accomplished in the half court. Seton Hall should be down double figures with the number of turnovers that they have.
-
8 turnovers, in what, 12 posessions? LMAO Seton Hall is beyond terrible.
-
Seton Hall has 5 turnovers in their first five possessions. It's like watching a freshman team scimmage a varsity team.

Chris Paul and the Hornets
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
The Hornets are a far more talented team, and unlike Chris Paul, Deron Williams is in a new system so it's going to take him some time to get accustomed and develop some chemistry with the new guys. You cant judge him just based on 3-4 games. -
http://i54.tinypic.com/i5yfjc.jpg Since the beginning of February the Hornets have been on a downward spiral and have dropped 10 of their last 14 games. They're currently the 7th seed but are in danger of dropping out of the playoff picture. In that span Chris Paul has shot 61-153 from the floor (.400%) 9-33 from three (.270%) and has averaged roughly 13 points per game, 9 assists per game, 1.79 steals per game, and 2.36 turnovers per game. Those to me don't look like "best pg in the league (as many of you claim)" type of numbers. I've said it for a while now and I'll say it again, but Chris Paul is probably the third, maybe fourth, best pg in the league. For some reason he just hasn't been the same since he messed his knee up a little over a year ago. At this point in the season I'm starting to wonder whether he has his head straight and is really focused on winning games with the Hornets. Thoughts?

Perkins to OKC is everything that is wrong with the NBA

Sorry to bump an old thread, but some of these were funny. http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lhd6ut12qB1qhb47yo1_r1_400.jpg http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lhg822WjvQ1qhb47yo1_400.jpg http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lhd6ut12qB1qhb47yo1_r1_400.jpg http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lhd0afuxhM1qhb47yo1_r1_400.jpg -
Best defensive PG in the league right now
The Regime replied to Newman's topic in Player Comparisons
I'll give Hinrich his due but the fact of the matter is that Derrick Rose is still really inconsistent jumpshooter on offense. He makes alot of opposing pg's look good when his jumpers broke. He has had a number of games this season where he has taken a high volume of shots and shot a terrible percentage. And it's not like Derrick Rose hasn't has his share of dominant defensive performances against top notch point guards this season. In February alone he shut down the two best pg's in the league in consecutive games. Deron Williams 5-13 fg's, 0-3 3pt, 5 to's, 11 assists, 11 points Chris Paul 3-10 fg's, 1-2 3pt, 2 to's, 6 assists, 15 points I'm not saying that Rose is a better defensive pg that Hinrich, because he isn't at this point in his career. But guys have off nights, and someone like Rose has them far too often. -
Charlie Sheen Interview From Good Morning America

He's delusional because of drug abuse, and he no longer knows what's good for him and what's bad for him. I wasn't judging him I was just pointing out the the sad reality. -

Yeh let's praise a guy whose career is going down the drain because of drugs. I can't believe that people actually praise someone who's going through this stage in their life. -

What a [expletive]ing train wreck, he needs serious help. He's entertaining right now, but it wont be when he's lying in a coffin. http://s-ak.buzzfed.com/static/imagebuzz/terminal01/2011/2/28/15/anigif_the-definitive-charlie-sheen-is-fcking-crazy-gif-22533-1298924636-18.gif -
Indiana at Oklahoma City
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
I was listening to sports radio on the way to work and apparently Kevin Durant tweaked his ankle in the fourth quarter and was carried into the locker room. They said that he couldn't put any pressure on the ankle. Any word on how serious the injury is? -
Good thing the Bulls will have homecourt in the first round and possibly the second because they are terrible on the road. Today's loss makes them 15-14 on the road. Derrick Rose is still a really inconsistent shooter. He's needs to shot as close to 50% for the Bulls to be dangerous and effective.
