Celtics send Perkins to Thunder for Jeff Green
The Regime replied to Dash's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
I don't think I've ever seen him play the two and I highly doubt he gets any minutes at PF with Kevin Garnett and Glen Davis. But as you said it's all matchup pending. I'm curious to see how he fits into the Celtics rotation. -
Derrick Rose needs to have an efficient game for the Bulls to win. That means shooting as close to 50% or better. Should be a competitive game.

What are you suggesting? You do realize he's playing behind Paul Pierce, right? -
Celtics send Perkins to Thunder for Jeff Green
The Regime replied to Dash's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
To be honest I haven't watched enough of him to make a fair assessment of what role best suits him. What I do know is that he is really versatile and has a unique skill set. His minutes are probably going to get cut in half with Boston, and that probably wont sit well with him. -
Lee is more useful than Asik right now, but this trade still wouldn't take the Bulls over the hump and into the finals. The Bulls are smart for waiting it out, they'll have plenty of cap space and expirings to deal in the offseason. People need to stop acting like the Bulls have a one year championship window.

Celtics send Perkins to Thunder for Jeff Green

Few things about this trade.. 1) It was obvious that the Celtics had a lot of frontcourt depth, so they were going to address that one way or another. What I didn't expect the Celtics to do was trade away their defensive anchor. Shaq and Jermaine are way too injury prone, so I don't understand why they would trade away one of their healthy and productive big men. 2) Jeff Green is probably pist. He goes from being a starter and key piece, to probably a sixth man. He's gives the Celts alot of versatility at the position, but the trade certainly wasn't worth compromising size. 3) Thunder finally get their defensive big men that they've look been awaiting. This trade makes them the 3rd best team in the East behind the Spurs and Lakers imo. As for the Celtics, they probably move down a spot, I think the Heat are now favored to win the East. 4) My only concern for the Thunder is that Durant and Wesbrook are going to be expected to do to much on offense. You certainly upgrade defensively, but losing Green leaves a pretty big offensive void. Thabo is going to have to step up in a bigger scoring role. -
Ron Artest goes for 24, shame on you Portland.

And that's why Derrick Rose isn't not a super star yet. Jumpshot has a long way to go.

Oklahoma City at San Antonio
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in San Antonio Spurs Team Forum
Wow, that's the best shot that the Thunder could get. Durant has got to touch the ball. -
I usually go no more than like 15 miles with the E light on, not worth experimenting.

Thunder need to draw up some plays for Harden, he has been wet this quarter. -
Wizards acquire Bibby, Jo.Crawford, Evans
The Regime replied to a topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
Hinrich is two times the defender that Bibby is, excellent trade for the Hawks. Wizards can experiment with Jordan Crawford a little, dude has some potential -
Here comes a winning streak, I can feel it.

Unreal deal, I wasn't expecting the Jazz to deal their franchise pg especially after parting ways with Sloan. Utah management fails. First they lose Boozer and Wes Matthews, then they get rid of Sloan, and now Deron. Franchise is going to have a tough time rebounding, there isn't a whole lot the Jazz can hang their hat on.

Really nice homepage Brandon, only anticipating the team banners now.

How will Chauncey Billups play as a Knick?
The Regime replied to a topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
Billups isn't as good of a defender as Felton? Are you serious? -
Looks like Ty Lawson is more that ready to take over as the Nuggets pg.

How dangerous would the Thunder be with Nene?
The Regime replied to htown11's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
Some of you guys are overblowing Nene's impact. The man is solid offensively, but he doesn't make much of an impact defensively. On top of that he doesn't rebound very well for a seven footer. The Thunder would become an ever more athletic team with him in the starting lineup, but they still wouldn't be better than the Lakers, Mavs, or Spurs. -

He thought they were all going to get retraded. But it wont happen.
