From the Heat games that I've watched this season, the Heat always have a stretch were they play excellent defense and takes teams out of the game. I just didn't see that today. Defense as a whole was mediocre, and the Heat just played too lackadaisical especially to end the first half and midway through the fourth if I remember correctly. The Knicks played solid basketball, don't get me wrong. They made the big shots when they most needed them and their defense was surprisingly good in transition and in half court sets but I just felt that the Heat played without any urgency. The Knicks wanted it more and it showed.

Thank you. I was going to write up a long post, but something short and straight forward like that will get the job done. The Knicks made the most of their opportunities tonight, they capitalized off turnovers and were fortunate enough to have Wade in foul trouble. Miami just seemed like they didn't give a shit, they opened up two big leads, but let the Knicks climb back in. Just complacent basketball.
