  2. He has had slumps in the past. In 2010 he was in a major slump going into September but turned it around in in October and into the postseason. I still have a feeling he'll get it figured out.
  3. Haha I got a kick out of this. http://i46.tinypic.com/112di4j.gif
  4. He's no where near the same player that he was a couple year back for the Bulls, but he's a far better option than what the Bulls have right now. Sadly, the Bulls are still a top a top 5 team in the East.
  5. This was posted on LakersNation, I thought it was pretty interesting. Quotes are from the Jordan Rules book for those of you who are interested.
  6. yeh he's not playing because of the groin injury. US team is undersized, but I still don't see any team competing against such a a talented roster.
  7. Shit my bad I didn't see the Olympic topic. Mods can merge it if they feel the need.
  8. Nominated for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team are: Carmelo Anthony (New York Knicks) Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers) Tyson Chandler (New York Knicks) Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder) Blake Griffin (Los Angeles Clippers) James Harden (Oklahoma City Thunder) Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers) LeBron James (Miami Heat) Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves) Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers) Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder) Deron Williams (Brooklyn Nets) http://www.nba.com/2012/news/07/07/team-usa-announced/?ls=iref:nbahpt1
  9. Miami is going to runaway with the East next season barring any significant injuries. It's not even fair.
  10. My bad, i just saw it on realgm. I still think that the Lakers are going to stay put with their current roster. No more significant moves. Right now I'm just concerned with resigning Jordan Hill and maybe adding a couple good shooters via free agency or trade.
  11. At the end of the day he didn't jump ship, Lebron did.
  12. It's a shame because he was hands down the second best player on the team. Batum reminds me alot of Trevor Ariza, in the right system he can be productive. And just like Ariza some team is going to end up overpaying for him.
  13. They got him relatively cheap imo. Kidd isn't a starting pg at this point in his career. Feltons out of shape ass would be a better option for the Knicks at this point.
  14. Throw in Jordan Hill at the four and we would be unstoppable.
  15. I would much rather just shop Bynum for Dwight. But for the most part I'm satisfied with the starting five. We need to sure up our bench and add a couple knock down shooters.
  16. Realistically the Hawks are trying to clear up cap space and rebuild, trading for Pau doesn't accomplish anything. I would much rather keep Pau. He would be much more effective in p&r/p&p situations. Granted that Josh Smith is alot more athletic and a far superior defender, his offense is really suspect. Imagine having him and Ron on the floor at the same time. Plus this unit already has chemistry, and with their window closing I wouldn't take a chance. Prior to the Nash signing I was all for Pau getting traded.
  17. His days as a starter are beyond him. With the Big 4 you need a guy who can space the floor and lock down opposing players. He doesn't fit that mold. I would love to have him as a sixth man though.
  18. I wish the Lakers would get rid of Mike Brown. He's going to underutilize the talent that we have on this roster.
  19. Yeh no way the Lakers can afford him. Plus it wouldn't make sense to pay a guy so much for a bench role. We have bigger priorities on this roster right now. Edit: We still have his bird rights.
  20. Lakers need to focus on adding some depth. Management needs to make an effort to surround the Big 4 with quality role players. For starters we could add a couple solid knock down shooters.
  21. Dwight has expressed interest in playing with Steve Nash. I wonder if this changes anything in our chances with acquiring him.
  22. [expletive] YES! Edit: Sportcenter just reported it.
  23. The Cavs could have still signed and traded him if Lebron knew that he wanted out all along. It shouldn't have come down to free agency. Dwight's situation is annoying as [expletive] but atleast the Magic have an opportunity to get some talent in exchange.
