  1. This is the worst contract handed out thus far imo. What exactly does Landry Fields bring to the team, the way I see he's like a Thabo minus the defensive prowess. Didn't he become a bench warmer for the Knicks near the end of the season?
  2. I just don't see it happening. I feel like the Lakers are satisfied with their core and aren't going to make any big moves. Maybe just sure up their bench a little.
  3. Dwight Howard is going to end up on some random ass team lol. Just watch.
  4. The situations are different. The Cavs got shafted because Lebron left via free agency, and the Cavs didn't get anything by s&t. If Dwight is traded for some talent, then he won't be as hated as Lebron. Plus Lebron was a superstar, Dwight is no where on the same level. Lebron will forever stay the biggest villain imo. No player of his caliber will pull such a stunt.
  5. What are the chances the team looks at Demarcus Cousins as a replacement?
  6. Am I the only one who is super hyped for Spiderman tomorrow night?
  7. I would have to disagree with the finesse part. Hibbert is actually one of the few bigs in the league who plays like a traditional big. Solid back to the basket game, and he has a pretty hook. Aldridge is most effective facing up 10-12 feet from the basket, so I feel like they could compliment each other really well. I agree that they have holes at the wing, but when was the last time the Blazers had a good healthy center? It's been over a decade. The fact is that he's one of the best low post defenders in the league, it's really hard to pass that up. Lillard/ Smith Matthews/ EWill Batum/ Claver Aldridge/ Freeland Hibbert/ Leonard If Batum returns, that's atleast a 45 win team imo. They're young, athletic, long, and can score inside and out.
  8. Report: Hawks turned down Pau Gasol - Josh Smith trade due to Lakers' high price http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-on-basketball/19459036/report-hawks-turned-down-pau-gasol---josh-smith-trade-due-to-lakers-high-price LMAO!
  9. 4 allstars for the Giants, that's pretty sick. I still think Bumgarner or Vogelsong deserved a spot on the roster.
  10. via Woj https://twitter.com/KCJHoop/status/219577320539820032 No way in hell do I see Chicago matching this. Just another example of a average player getting overpaid.
  11. Nets clearly have the funds but that doesn't mean you hand out such a large contract. They would have been better off targeting a younger guy like Nicholas Batum.
  12. Please elaborate on how they aren't compatible? The way I see it, Portland would have one of the most dominant frontcourt duos in the NBA if this went through.
  13. He's a liability on defense, and we're better off spending our MLE elsewhere. I just don't see a pressing need to go after him.
  14. http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/46996/could-jose-calderon-join-gasol-in-l-a Man I hope this isn't true.
  15. With Ray Allen probably going elsewhere, I can see Mayo being his predecessor in Boston. Plus the Celtics tried trading for him last year if I'm not mistaken.
  16. Deron Williams-Brooklyn Nets Steve Nash-Toronto Raptors Gerald Wallace-Brooklyn Nets Ray Allen-Miami Heat OJ Mayo-Boston Celtics Jason Terry-Brooklyn Nets Jason Kidd-Chicago Bulls Andre Miller-Miami Heat Chauncey Billups-Los Angeles Lakers Jeff Green-Boston Celtics
  17. So he went from almost retiring to signing a three year deal. LOL.
  18. PJ3 is dropping. Lakers need to find a way to get him.
  19. NBA draft gets more and more boring every year.
