  1. an intriguing comparison indeed sir, but they're different athletes. Williams could probably win a dunk contest. he reminds me of DeRozan, but you know, better lol.
  2. lol I told y'all. I can just see things in players.
  3. lol why would you want to deck the hobo? he wasn't hurting anyone.
  4. BYU could've used Davies in that one. they seem to have been abused on the boards.
  5. her elder called her an idiot and an animal. she had it coming. now, I'm not from the east coast, so I'm not familiar with the unwritten rules of public transportation, but who cares if someone's eating noodles on the subway? I would absolutely care less.
  6. lol that's crazy. I still can't figure out why that lady would care if someone's eating spaghetti.
  7. BYU pisses me off. I'm pulling for Florida all the way.
  8. he'd be better suited coming off the bench for a contender. Boston should sign him in the offseason if Big Baby leaves. imagine having to guard KG, then you have to deal with Evans lol.
  9. the NBA has the best postseason system in sports. there's no way they should mess with that formula. I'd be cool with keeping it at 82 games if they decreased the minutes. they should decrease the minutes and make it 76 games. there's just something about that number that sticks out.
  10. I don't feel sorry for him; I just think Kobe should be a big enough man to not make him the butt of his jokes anymore. the dude's been out of the league for like three or four years now and he's still mentioning Smush. actually, I was a Laker fan when Smush was on the team. that's how I knew Kobe joked about him on multiple occasions. lol wut? I have no idea what you're saying here.
  11. you was sippin daiquiris in Rico while I was dodging bullets in this bias-fest of a topic. http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/topic/22105-why-do-people-think-rose-is-mvp/
  12. it doesn't matter how good or bad the player was - it's still a dick move. he's making Smush the butt of his jokes and the dude's not even in the league anymore. Smush said maybe one bad thing about Kobe and Kobe's already mocked him like three or four times. sure, Parker wasn't the best player ever, but he tried hard and he did his best. Kobe should be mature enough to leave him alone, but I guess he's not.
  13. y'all already know of my views on this year's MVP race. if it was up to me, it'd be like this: Dwight LeBron Rose what's wrong with sticking up for one of your players and trying to get him some recognition? nvm, I assumed something else, as team record is usually discussed by conference.
  14. lol wtf? I was just reading a few comments from the article and here's what someone posted: reading these comments really just shows you the general ignorance of casual NBA fans.
  15. they never go just 2.5 hours. I know this because the second game of the TNT double-headers always start at least 10-15 minutes late. if they decreased the amount of the time of the games from 48 minutes to 40 minutes, I'd have no problem keeping the number of regular season games at 82.
  16. ^ lol it's not really a theory. the Heat are clearly the most hated team on this forum. I'm just glad we got it together and pulled out the win. I would've been pissed if we lost to freakin Detroit.
  17. hell no. have you seen him play lately? dude's just not with it at all. tonight he shot less than 50% with 2 turnovers and 3 personal fouls. besides, he turns 35 before next season. I'd much rather keep Chalmers.
  18. agreed 100%. they seem to do a lot better without him. this dude's just taking shots and messing up like it's no big deal. he certainly isn't the answer for them.
  19. so what are you saying? no one should sign him?
  20. that's another good point. most of these games go at least three hours. they should do it like college basketball where there's just two 20 minutes halves. professional athletes don't need a break every 12 minutes.
  21. lol you're back here, man? this is HOV.

  22. I don't get why they traded Dalembert. I'd understand if he had multiple years left on his deal, but he was an expiring contract. they should have kept him around longer.
  23. lol @ Stan Van. I love that guy, but I doubt he's played much b-ball in his day. a shorter regular season could make for better postseason basketball.
  24. he'd take time away from Evan Turner if he signed with the Sixers. the Pacers suggestion, on the other hand, could work.
