No, no one outside of Miami would consider them the best team in the league. And, no one is going back to the argument that the Miami Heat can't beat good teams yet, they are just sticking with their accurate assessment.
-
It's a good sign that the best player in the league is heating up. Evgeni Malkin is a beeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaasssstttttttt, and I love seeing all of the Stamkos jockers go into hiding now. . When they are on their game, Malkin>>Crosby, and I've seen most Penguins fans say the same thing.

This is what happens when the Heat play a quality team.......

You can pro-rate for a QB all you want, but that's not taking into consideration the punishment he would endure playing 4+ more games. It's also not taking into consideration the considerably easier schedule Vick has played against. We'll compare Brady's stats and Vick's stats against teams they've both played against. Green Bay Packers: Vick: 16/24, 175 yards passing, 103 yards rushing, 1 TD, 0 INT, and a 101.9 rating. Brady: 15/24, 163 yards passing, 2 TD, 0 INT, 110.2 rating. Detroit Lions: Vick: 21/34, 284 yards passing, 37 yards rushing, 2 TD's, 0 INT's, and a 108.0 rating. Brady: 21/27, 341 yards passing, 4 TD's, 0 INT's, and a 158.3 rating. Indianapolis Colts: Vick: 17/29, 218 yards passing, 74 yards rushing, 1 passing TD, 1 rushing TD, and a 93.8 rating. Brady: 19/25, 186 yards passing, 2 TD's, 0 INT's, and a 123.1 rating. Chicago Bears: Vick: 29/44, 333 yards passing, 44 yards rushing, 2 passing TD's, 1 INT, and a 94.2 rating. Brady: 27/40, 369 yards passing, 2 TD's, 0 INT's, and a 113.4 rating. Vick played very well during those games, but not once was his passer rating better, and he also had two things that Brady didn't have against those teams, and that would be losses. And, whatever "system" you are using to come up with your numbers is incredibly inaccurate considering there is no way Vick's completely percentage goes up 7% in the next two games.

Green Street Hooligans
EastCoastNiner replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Movies and Television Forum
I wish they went in a different direction at the end. Green Street Hooligans 2 was good too, but it wasn't too related to the first one. It's funny because a lot of reviews give these movies poor reviews, espeically Green Street Hooligans 2. I haven't really seen a good review about it, but I liked it. . If they had planned on making a squeal all along, I would have had the second one be based upon the following: -
I'm not saying it is a main factor, but it could certainly play a factor. I am not trying to downplay Vick's season whatsoever because it has been amazing, but I just don't see the case for him being the MVP over Brady right now. I could definitely see him winning OPOTY, but not the MVP at this point.
-
It's not Vick's fault he didn't play those teams, but Brady did, and completely shredded them. Kevin Kolb has also started games for the Eagles this season which hurts Vick's case. I guess LeBron should have no fault at all that he couldn't win in Cleveland because he didin't have the opportunity to play with better players like Kobe. I would just like to see your case for Vick.
-
It came out in 2005, but it's an awesome movie. Has anyone else seen it? It's one of my favorite movies that I have ever seen.
-
That's why Vick will probably win OPOTY, but not the MVP. His accomplishments are great this season, but besides rushing yards, none of his statistics match up with Tom Brady. And, strength of schedule certainly plays a factor. If two players were pretty much identical in terms of performance(which is not the case here), then strength of schedule would certainly make voters think twice about who they vote for. Pittsburgh- Check Jets- Check Ravens- Check Chargers- Check Colts- Check Packers- Check Bears- Check Michael Vick has not faced that competition this season. He has a strong case for OPOTY, but he's in no way shape or form in the lead for MVP.
-
There's definitely a case for Vick to be made, but compared to Brady's case, it isn't much of a case right now. He hasn't thrown an interception in ages, has beaten multiple division leading teams, wild card teams, and contending teams. If Brady and Vick both play exceptional football during the last two games, and Vick wins the MVP, it is solely because of the game yesterday, which was absolutely incredible. Also, Vick has only started seven games this season, which hurts his case.
-
I could see cases for both of them if they continue to play exceptional football during the last two games. However, I'm not too sure Michael Vick has enough going in his favor to win the MVP. If he wins it, it will be because of the Giants game yesterday. The Patriots have less offensive "talent", the 28th ranked defense, and are still 12-2. Tom Brady has more TD's, passing yards' QB rating, ect. The list goes on and on for the statistical comparison. He also lost Randy Moss early in the season and the offense actually improved after he left. And, I think the argument definitely shifts in Brady's favor once you consider the teams they've beaten. Jets- Many people's pick to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, and a current Wild Card team. Baltimore Ravens: A high powered offense, with a great defense, and a current Wild Card team. Pittsburgh Steelers: The current AFC North division leaders. Indianapolis Colts: The current AFC South leaders. San Diego Chargers: A team surging late in the season and has a great chance at winning the AFC West. Chicago Bears: The current NFC North division leaders. Green Bay Packers: Currently on the outside looking in for a wild-care, but if they beat the Giants, they will most likely make the playoffs. The strength of schedule is completely in Brady's favor for an MVP case.

Why the hell would you want Bill Cowher? He will want to be paid a ton of money, and is probably the most over-rated coach around. He did nothing for ages in Pittsburgh, and then finally one a Super Bowl.

What is your favorite Christmas time movie?
EastCoastNiner replied to The Regime's topic in Movies and Television Forum
I'm sorry, but you guys are all wrong. There is only one answer to this question. http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2008/12/16/gal_christmasvacation.jpg -
I know. I was joking.
-
I still don't know if that kid killed himself or not......
-
You're not allowed to mention anything about the 2007-2008 season, but I just want to post this before I go to bed. I know it's a low blow. . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX6jhLlB_Sw&feature=related

That's right. I drafted Manningham myself in most of my leagues, but damn, if I lost because I have you Vick and having Steve Smith injured...... .
-
Don't even start. DeSean Jackson went to the Universisty of California, so 49er's fans have been pissed for a while especially because he was a local stud, and the offense just sucks. Kentwan Balmer was chosen before him. /thread.
-
I would have been annoyed. Did I get Manningham in the deal thought? I forget who I got. .
-
Damn, that game was closer than I wanted it to be. I wasn't nervous at all during the game until the final drive where I thought the Packers would score.
-
Damn, out match-up was close as [expletive]. .
-
As I said earlier in this thread, it may very well come down to the Giants and Packers game.
-
Show me some posts where I blame the refs. You're a terrible troll, and I think everyone here saw how you are in the Giants thread today. You're just bitter.
-
WHAT THE [expletive]?!?!? I screwed up changing two of my picks. I meant to keep my Redskins pick and change my Tampa Bay one, but I did the opposite!
-
No, he's just an uneducated troll.
