  1. Well, hopefully Rodgers, Vick, and Rivers k cool down soon because they are the only three I need to be concerned with right now. He's only 24 points behind Rodgers, so hopefully Brady can have some more big games while Rodgers chokes.
  2. And, I get crap for supporting Amare all of these years. . It's about time you guys realized how good he is. It's taken you people far too long.
  3. I understand the "bust" label, but Aaron Rodgers would have sucked there as well, and that is why Mike McCarthy said he should be happy he wasn't selected by the 49er's because he wouldn't have done any better. It's not just Alex Smith that hasn't played well. It's the absolutely awful playcalling. THAT is the biggest thing the pisses off every 49er's fan. A lot don't like Smith, but most hate the coaches even more. Run, run, short pass, punt. Oh, it's 3rd and 9? That means it's time to run the ball up the middle for the millionth time.
  4. Damn, I was really hoping this thread wouldn't get bumped for a while. I was planning on bumping some threads at the end of the season if everythign goes as I hope. Also, does anyone have a link to the ESPN "expert" predictions from the beginning of the season? I bumped a thread with their predictions last season or the season before, but I can't find it for this season. It's the list where they predict everything from the division winners, Super Bwol winners, ROTY winnes, ect.
  5. Can you imagine how nasty my team would be if I didn't trade you Vick for Manningham or whoever I got in the trade? . Now I have Troy [expletive]ing Smith.
  6. Damn, I have had some abysmal weeks. . I can't afford to only get five or six picks correct each week.
  7. On the bright for Jets fans, Sanchez has started to play like Peyton Manning. .
  8. You still don't get it. The whole point is that I didn't believe in their hype because they haven't beaten quality teams are are barely beating poor teams. Oh, and you can say the Patriots lost the the Browns, but they have beaten the Packers, Jets, Chargers, Steelers, Colts, and every other team they have played besides the Jets once. That's more than the Jets can say so far. There's still a long ways to go in the season, but that is my point.
  9. I bring them up because you wouldn't be trolling if your team was having success. Since they aren't, you have nothing better to do right now. The Jets win games, but they don't do it convincingly which is my point. They lost to the three good teams they played this season. They can still do a lot of damage, but beating lesser teams and losing to playoff teams is not a good sign.
  10. Too bad I don't blame calls on the referees and say the only reason a team loses is because they are lucky. If you want to show me one post where I say the Jets suck or are not good, I'd gladly admit I was wrong, but you won't find that. However, you will find posts saying that they were extremely fortunate to have the Browns fumble and other late game miracles. Stop bringing your butt hurt attitude about the Cowboys into these threads. Also, what the hell do the Giants have to do with anything?
  11. Tony Romo isn't young himself, and Peyton is still an elite QB in the NFL. Give me Peyton Manning for three or four years over Tony Romo for five or six years. He's proven himself for a decade, and people want to act like it's the end of the road for him after having a few poor games. Believe me, I am loving that Peyton Manning has been sucking recently, but there is not much to worry about with him, as he will undoubtedly sign the most lucrative contract in NFL history soon.
  12. There are other QB's in the NFL that have done more with less, and now Peyton is struggling when he doesn't have all of his premier weapons.
  13. He's just playing like [expletive]. He needs to step it up.
  14. I saw this last year, but this is what happens when a country is at "war".
  15. I really am starting to believe that the Steelers are getting treated unfairly, and it's not fun to see unless it happens against the Patriots. Big Ben is absolutely awesome, and the refs should be "protecting" him like every other QB.
  16. I somewhat thought it was a forearm to the head at first, but I don't think it should have been called. However, after watching the replay, it wasn't that bad. However, this may have been a penalty....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhtLDG5JxUI I would LOVE this guy on the Patriots or 49er's. He is an absolute force, and I really think he is making a case as being one of the best defensive players in the NFL already.
  17. I agree with you, although I don't like them calling that. If the league would treat QB's the same when they are past the line of scrimmage like any other player, these calls would never be made. Also, what's with the completely one sided post about the Lions being poised to win? The Bears were down 3 points inside the Lions 20. Poised to win my [expletive]. .
  18. - I'm not surprised with Chicago, or I would have picked against them a lot. - The Colts are surprising. - I'm not shocked with the Chiefs success, but more surprised by the Chargers lack of success. - Nothing surprises me with the NFC West except when a team in that division actually wins a game. - I said the Cowboys would miss the playoffs. If you're talking individual performances, I'm only surprised by Arian Foster for the most part, and Brandon Lloyd as well.
  19. How's it been wild? I told you people that the Bengals would only win five games and the Cowboys would finish 3rd in the NFC East. The season has panned out like expected.
  20. This sucks. Each and every one of my picks for the late games was out of spite of teams that I WANTED to lose. -The Patriots have the Raiders 1st. - I want the Seahawks to lose. - I want the Rams to lose. - I hate the Cowboys. - I don't like the Falcons hype. If I wasn't a 49er's fan, I still would have picked them though because of the spread. This [expletive] [expletive]s me over, and that's why I hate doing these things.
  21. I'm just going to sit back and wait for the excuses to come pouring in from the usual Manning nut slobbers. It looks like he's really holding his own right now with the WR's he had!
  22. So, the players, coaches, and GM's don't know what they are talking about? They are the ones that voted on the list.
  23. I guess you're right. That makes it even worse. .
