  1. This is the same [expletive] you criticize other people for saying. . You're such a hypocrite. The only reason records don't matter to you is because Dallas is 0-2 right now. I don't know who I think will win this game, but saying records don't matter right now is absurd because you try and get on people for saying things like that as well.
  2. There are so many things you are saying that are making you lose the little credibility you have. I'll just name two that stood out. 1. No one said LeBron and Wade were just okay players. They said they though Kobe and Shaq were better. 2. You used blocks to talk about interior play.......You do know that LeBron and Wade aren't centers, and Shaq is probably the greatest center in NBA history. So, I have no clue how the "trio" wins the interior battle. . You're just trying to go player by player and not match-ups. Take off the homer glasses, and we'll bump this thread once Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum take hope their 3rd straight ring this year against the Heat, and I hate to say that.
  3. I still don't think one can overlook the amount of hits he has though. I understand his OBP isn't great, but still, he's going to get 3,000 hits.
  4. I just don't get how someone can think he is over-rated. No one puts him in the same category as the power hitters of our generation like Pujols, A-Rod, ect. He is the only player in MLB history to have 200+ hits for 10 straight seasons. Again, he is the only person to do that in 141 years of the MLB being around. If he played here instead of Japan for the eight years he spent there, there is no doubt that he would probably have at least 15-16 straight seasons of 200+ hits. Derek Jeter is a great player, but he's not a better hitter than Ichiro.
  5. You're right, his 2,000 hits and gold gloves are over-rated........ People don't give him ENOUGH credit.
  6. None of them could defend Shaq. No teammate of theirs would be able to either. At least LeBron/Wade would be able to be defended. Shaq and Kobe have also proven they can win multiple championships. I'm not going to bother arguing this. I'll just wait util Real and Nitro respond to your post. I just think you've been watching too much of the WNBA and not the NBA......
  7. What? Comparing arguably the greatest player in NBA history along with the most dominant big man of all-time in their primes to LeBron and Wade is not roughly even. Bosh doesn't really even factor into this. He doesn't change my opinion on anything.
  8. I'll be rooting for the Texans, but the Cowboys just haven't played to their potential yet. They have the more talented team, but they haven't shown they are the better team. If Dallas goes 0-3 though.....wow!
  9. And, he has some great offensive weapons this year along with a favorable schedule, so he should thrive.
  10. That's just false. He performed better than a lot of QB's last season while missing significant time. They also have an easy schedule, and they look like they've fixed their play-calling issues. Not to mention the difference in my WR's and HB's more than makes up the difference from my QB compared to every other team.
  11. Are you going to predict a 34-6 score as well? However, I won't doubt that he does throw for 400 yards.
  12. My team is STACKED now. QB- Alex Smith HB- Jamal Charles HB- Cedric Benson WR- Wes Welker WR- Reggie Wayne WR- Steve Smith(NYG) TE- Hernandez K- Nedney D/ST- New England I'm really surprised how good this team is, especially for a 17 team keeper league. I'll be able to keep Charles, Wayne, Welker, and Smith/Benson, and then probably get a few of the other players back. BEAST!!!!!!!!
  13. I love how some players call A.J. Smith "The Lord of The No Rings". .
  14. They are usually wrong. Especially Chris Broussard. He changed his mind about where LeBron was going to go to from New York, to Chicago, to Miami, back to Chicago, and then was proven wrong when he went to Miami. They have very little credibility.
  15. He's getting ownnnnneeeedddddddd!!!! Tuukka Rask is looking very sharp so far, and I'm glad Horton got a goal.
  16. What happened to all of you Fitzgerald jockers from two years ago? . Some of you change your mind every second.
  17. So, if Bill Gates murdered someone, you would let him pay $1 billion and he could get out of jail? Also, what you are proposing sounds like concentration camps.......
  18. It's hard to pick against Andre, but I'll take Calvin Johnson. He's probably the most talented WR to ever play in the NFL, with Moss possibly being more talented.
  19. It's more expensive because of all of the pointless appeals processes. It doesn't take much money to buy a piece of lead for criminals that are obviously guilty, especially when they admit to the crime.
  20. Maybe it's a tie or I have the tie-breaker....
