I'm not saying you're wrong by any means, but betting books will often tell you that teaser bets are the biggest sucker bets, which is why you always see teaser bets advertised. I get the point because it definitely increases your chances though.

I know, but the spreads are also the closest they will be all season. I think those three picks are pretty good. I think SF will come out swinging. The Chargers SHOULD smoke the Chiefs, and the Dolphins should beat the Bills, but who knows. As long as SF wins and I have them as my constant, I'll make bank.....hopefully!

I was thinking the same thing. I might make a 3rd $25 bet on that, which would mean if I lost my big bet, I would only lose $25 total, which I think is worth the risk. However, SF needs to do its job. .

Does anyone here bet on any sports online? I'm asking because I signed up on a very reputable site to place a bet on football, got sucked in to betting on MLB games and the casino, and [expletive]ed myself over, so now I'm 100% only betting on NFL games. Here's what I'm thinking of doing: I'm going to make two parlay bets for the week 1 games: SEA v.s. SF (-2 1/2) MIA(-2 1/2) v.s. BUF SD(-5 1/2) v.s. KC For the games above, I need to get all three correct in order to win the bet. So, I would be placing $150 on this bet, and if I win, it pays 6:1, which would make me $900. However, since I'm not super confident about the MIA and BUF game, I would make a second parlay bet. SEA v.s. SF(-2 1/2) MIA(-2 1/2) v.s. BUF SD(- 5 1/2) v.s. KC In the bet above, I would place $25 on it, so if I win, I would make $150 on this bet, which would cover the cost of my other bet. Pretty much, it is just giving myself a little extra assurance. However, I would absolutely need SF and SD to win. If not, I lose $175, but I do think the risk is worth it. I may even make a 3rd parlay for $25, in which I make one other chance just to further protect myself. I would place the most money on the first bet because those are the teams I think will win, but I would just pay a little money in other bets to cover myself, which would cover my losses in the first bet. Thoughts on the picks and idea?

Tebow Signs $33M Deal With Broncos
EastCoastNiner replied to The Regime's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
He will be a very good QB in this league. The doubts about him may be legitimate, but I think the doubters will be proven wrong. Also, he won't get nearly $33 million considering a lot of it is incentives. -
Earl Bennett.

I thought you wanted Todd Heap? Or, is it a pick from earlier that you need to make up for?
-
Ummm, why is he picking again? It doesn't say Todd Heap was chosen.

If it is somehow my pick later tonight, give me the best available kicker.

Too bad the EA NHL series developers don't make all sports games. If they did.....damn! Every game would be sick!

Cost of living in your area?

I've always remembered that New Mexico has very good real eastate prices. Although this is a one story house, it's freaking big for $500,000, and it's a great looking house. http://www.searchnewmexicohomes.com/fulllisting.php?mls=689070&rtn=index.php Just search on that site for houses in New Mexico, and a lot of them are sweet. -

I know. But, if Haynesworth does well, that's more sacks for Orakpo and the defense, and more turnovers.

I probably could have gotten them off waivers, but I choose: http://media3.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/photo/2008/11/25/PH2008112502761.jpg Redskins Defense.

Hello.... .

I'm surprised everyone here likes it as much as you guys are saying. I thought it pretty much sucked balls. I understood it fully at the end, but it was just not that exciting.

No list from Cobb. <_< .

I prefer T.O. and Ocho Cinco. It's going to be great watching them this season, and even funniest seeing them get smacked week 1. Merriweather is going to lay the stick on Ocho Cinco. .

Kid with LeBron jersey escorted from Indians game
EastCoastNiner replied to Nitro's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
The fan looks like he was being a dick. Any sports city would have done this if a player of LeBron's caliber left them, especially like a Championship deprived city like Cleveland. -
2010 San Francisco 49er's Preview

Ughhh, don't even get me started on Jimmy Raye. Hopefully things change this year, but last year was miserable with the predictable play-calling. I really do believe in Alex Smith though. He was thrown into a bad situation, and also suffered some injuries that have kept him out for long periods of time, yet he continues to come back. This is a really good article that pretty much sums up what he's dealt with in his career so far. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AmuYR.QA_Nlhcm8VU5ftLZI5nYcB?slug=ms-smithturnaround072310 How many QB's that have been labeled "busts" GIVE UP $17 million to stay with a team where he has been ridiculed since he was drafted? This is his make or break year, make no mistake about it. I really think he will flourish this season.
