  1. Those posts make no sense at all. At least the team gets to make a decision to choose ANY player with the 1st overall pick, and if they screw it up, it's their fault. I'll take my chance with the 1st pick.
  2. A lot of people say that, and it's the dumbest thing someone can say. If teams lose games, they lose fans, merchandise sales, and the list goes on. Teams don't try and lose games. Also, if they are going to let the 14th place team have a chance at the pick, then they should let the playoff teams get a chance as well.
  3. At least no cars were license plates were stolen this game, and no control panels had beer poured on them. Don't worry, Montreal will be smashing cop cars the next two games. A funny story that I was reading was that two Flyers fans were telling some French-Canadian Montreal fans to go back to France, yet the two morons were wearing Simon Gagne and Daniel Briere jerseys. . Anyways, the better team is leading the series right now, and I really think that IF the Flyers make the finals, they have a very good chance at winning the Stanley Cup. Even before the last series, I wasn't looking too forward to playing them, and once they got Simon Gagne back, and David Krejci got hurt, it was all downhill from there.
  4. And, just like I thought it would end in the 1st inning, the Athletics have three hits and a 1-0 lead right now, and the inning isn't over.

  6. Weren't you a Penguins fan last year?
  7. I was actually thinking of next years 1st for whatever reason, and didn't even think about this years. . That's why I was mentioning the pick becoming worse. I think that getting John Wall would get LeBron James to come even more, even though he's already coming.
  8. That's not the main problem. I don't like how a team with the best odds of winning the lottery can be bumped down the third.
  9. I understand that the NHL maybe does it differently because there are seven rounds and more players, but I don't like that the team with the best odds can be bumped down to the 3rd pick.
  10. Do you think that Devin Harris+1st could get the #1 overall pick? The main reason I'm not sure if it could is because if the Nets get John Wall, then LeBron will definitely go there, and that pick will ultimately be crap.
  11. Only the five teams that have the highest odds can win, and you can only be bumped down one spot. The New Jersey Nets getting the 3rd pick is crap.
  12. The NBA lottery is terrible, and is probably the dumbest possible way to determine draft selections. They should follow the NHL's lottery, which is MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH better. In the NHL, teams can only move up FOUR spots, meaning only the teams with the five highest odds can possibly get the 1st overall pick. Also, teams can only move down ONE spot, meaning that if you had the highest odds, you would pick 2nd at worst. The NBA lottery is garbage.
  13. The NBA lottery is absolute crap. They should do the lottery the same way as the NHL.
  14. He's the [expletive]ing man like I've been saying for a while! If they get LeBron James, I hope Amare Stoudemire follows him, especially if they land John Wall! Can you say.....pent-pete? Penta-Pete?
  15. What happened two years ago? I'm pretty sure you were saying "Lakers in 5" and they got smoked by BOSTON! You're predictions are terrible, and I hope they continue to be.
  16. She is my least favorite t.v. personality and writer, and I can't stand when she speaks. I was just watching her on Rome Is Burning, and it just reminds me how much I can't stand her! Does anyone else feel the same?
  17. New England Patriots: Tom Brady can finally be 100% healthy, and the defense will improve, even though it's already one of the best defenses in the NFL, and they are young. San Fransisco 49ers': Their defense is one of the best in the league, and they filled their biggest needs in the draft which is the offensive-line, and Alex Smith should thrive this season with Vernon Davis coming off a great season and Michael Crabtree emerging.
  18. It's pretty much a done deal. As I've said all along, he will go there because of Mikhail Prokhorov, and the New Jersey Nets will have a young and stacked team, especially if they get John Wall.
  19. I'm sure some of the fans were being idiots, and the only reason people rip on Philly is because they have a reputation and end up in the news quite often, and that's not really debatable. Also, IFFFFF people were "threatening" you, it probably wasn't serious, even though it could have been, but the Bruins just blew a 3-0 series lead with a 3-0 lead in Game 7. Also, what else are you going to say to Montreal Canadiens fans. Anyways, this is one of the match-ups I did not want to see because I don't like either team, although at the beginning of the season I had the Flyers are one of my two favorites coming out of the East, with the Penguins being the other. I think Montreal is in BIG trouble, but I think that either of these teams CAN win the Stanley Cup.
  20. It's going to be the Phoenix Suns in 5, or 6 at the worst.
  21. That has nothing to do with Joe Morgan...... ESPN is obviously going to showcase the most historic rivalry in MLB history with two of the biggest teams in the MLB. It only makes sense.
  22. Some of you may think he'll end up somewhere else, but here is all you need to know: Mikhail Prokhorov I don't care what you guys say, that is going to be the reason that LeBron James ends up going to the New Jersey Nets, and if they end up getting John Wall, it is even more than a done deal
  23. There's 0% chance he goes to the Chicago Bulls, that's for sure. It makes no sense whatsoever, and that is not his best chance at winning a title soon.
