  1. This was one of the worst officiated games I've seen in a long time. It was downright pathetic.
  2. I know it is early in his career, and that he very well may be a stud someday, but if his career doesn't get on track soon, would you consider him the biggest bust in NBA history? I honestly would because I have seen very few players that got even close to as much hype as he did going into the draft, and those we LeBron James, Sidney Crosby, and Reggie Bush. I really hope he pulls through because I want to see him be a great player, but injuries for guys his size are hard to deal with.
  3. Please, you just embarrassed yourself. I can't believe all of the hype that Reggie Bush got during college, when it was quite obvious that he wasn't going to excel the way 90% of people had assumed he would in the NFL. Tim Tebow was twice the college football player that Reggie Bush was.
  4. We need to start asking other people to join, and if they aren't on this site already, and we can get them to join, the overall site activity will only grow.
  5. I think the order they are listed in is terrible, but the tables themselves are sick.
  6. I just remembered that some people may not be happy to realize that the size of the city you play in factors into how much your owner allows you to spend. Fan attendance, food prices, and everything else makes a difference in this system.
  7. And, then you can ask for D12 and give up Robin Lopez and a 2nd?

  9. Or, you guys(not you) could stop making absolutely retarded trades, when there is no way they would ever pass with a trade committee ...... He traded Anthony Morrow for Dwayne Wade and [expletive]. The good thing about this simulator is that we most likely won't use bank accounts because even though you can edit players, it's a pain in the [expletive].
  10. Tell me about it. I'm always extremely active, and then [expletive] just dies down because of dumb trades and people not having patience.
  11. 1. I never said that, so you need to get your facts straight for just once. 2. It's complete bull-[expletive] when people say "Oh, he's in his contract year, so he is magically going to try harder". You guys are honestly retarded if you think a player can just relax and not try hard and still compete at a very high level. It's pure stupidity.
  12. It's an absurd theory. In professional sports, you have to be giving almost 100% every night or you are going to get crushed, and it's funny that you and others think these players just care abut money. Often times there are nagging injuries that you don't hear about. I guess Braylon Edwards really played well during his contract year. .
  13. I assume you guys believe that they magically try harder in their contract years, and then relax for the rest of their contract. That makes no sense at all. They are professional athletes, and they have pride and are always going to try.
  14. A-Rod was suspended before Manny Ramirez, but good try at making a dumb point. You should go back to defending women that are humiliated after cheating on their boyfriend of five years. .
  15. Alright, you always hear about player playing in their "contract year", and that they are supposedly going to try harder. Does anyone else believe that this "contract year" stuff is complete bull-[expletive]? If you are a professional athlete and you aren't giving it your all, or damn near it every game, not matter how good you are you are going to get smoked by the opposition. I just don't buy into this bull-[expletive] and how people think that players are going to suddenly play better during contract years.
  16. People keeping on hating on him, but he's a beassssssssssttttttttttttttttttt. He's playing like he did two years ago when he was absolutely tearing it up.
  17. I'm still wondering why some of you suddenly changed your mind from one year ago.
  18. Alright, only way I would join one is if we use Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball. It always starts out with high activity, and then a few other and I end up being the only real active ones for a couple of reasons: 1. People quit because they have too much stuff for school. 2. The commish disappears for an extended period of time. 3. Terrible trades. 4. Terrible trades. 5. Terrible trades. I remember in the last league we did, there were about three very good teams being Mason's, Smitty's team (I believe), and my team. I had stocked up on GM cash for months, spending a lot of time doing my bank, and about FIVE other people's banks which took a longgggggggggggggggggggggggg time, and then the league just died which pissed me off because I did put a lot of time into doing this league. Also, the GM cash was just insane because I juiced Greg Oden beyond belief to the best or second best Center in the league, and that was just crazy. Also, there needs to be a trade committee, and we need to allow people that post here often to get into the league before people that don't post often.
  19. It had nothing to do with him being on the New York Yankees considering I've said the same thing about David Ortiz for years. I was very disappointed when it was revealed that Manny Ramirez was on the juice, but I don't deny it, and I have very little doubt that Albert Pujols is on the juice.
  20. He's an obvious juicer. I said the same thing about A-Rod a while ago, and people laughed, and as usual, I was correct. Albert Pujiols is a juicer.
  21. I'd be concerned about Albert Pujlos's age, and his highly likely use of steroids.
  22. It's cool that you won, but so many people in that same lottery were probably one number away. In a lottery, one number away really doesn't mean too much.
  23. Oh, how things have changed in the past year. I have said in the past year or two that Kobe Bryant was the BETTER player, but Michael Jordan so far, is the GREATER player, and everyone cried and complained that I was out of my mind, but now some of you are coming to your senses. I defined being the best at something and being the greatest at something completely differently, and I think that Kobe Bryant is a better player than Michael Jordan was, but six championships is going to be viewed as pure greatness, which is why people don't put Kobe Bryant above Michael Jordan. Kobe Bryant can still get that 6th Championship, and I also think that Michael Jordan and his influence on Nike has a lot to do with how people will most likely view him as the greatest player for a long, long time.
