I don't think that Jim Thome, Chipper Jones, Gary Sheffield, and Vladimir Guerrero are "locks" by any means, and I would even say that if the writers use steroids performance enhancing drugs against these players, than you can take off A-Rod and Manny Ramirez. So, I think that the only position player that you listed that is a "lock" is Derek Jeter, but that doesn't mean that I don't think that some of those players don't deserve to be in. Also, for the "borderline" players, I think there is a decent chance that a few of them get it.

They may get to the World Series, and if they do, they are going to face superior hitting(excluding the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL) that they haven't faced too often, and superior pitching. If it was up to you, I think almost every player would be in the Hall Of Fame. Seriously, it's kind of crazy to say this, and you also think Madison Bumgarner is going to win a Cy Young Award within the next five years, which is very possible, but I doubt it.

I'm not sure if he'll win one within his first five years, but it wouldn't surprise me the the piss poor pitching in NL. Brad Penny has started an All-Star Game for crying out loud. .

I never said you voted for him, but he was elected because he was black, and that's just the plain truth. Well, eight innings pitched and no earned runs in his first start in the NL. No surprise here.

Well, for the NFC West, I think it is going to be a three team battle. First off, I have picked the Seattle Seahawks to win the NFC West for about the past five seasons, but I'm not picking them to win it this year, although I think they have the potential to do so. The 49er's are going to pound the ball, and honestly, I think that they have one of the best RB's core's in the NFL with Frank Gore, Glenn Coffee, and Corey Sheets. The WR's are very good as well, with Josh Morgan leading the way for now, and Vernon Davis has very strong chance at making the "Pro-Bowl" since he won't be blocking as much this year. The 49er's have a very good LB core, and I think that the secondary will get quite a few interceptions this year as well. I'm only really worried about the offensive-line and the defensive-line, although that is a major part of the game.

ESPN made the WORST predictions I have ever seen for this coming season, seriously. I wish I had the magazine in front of me with their terrible predictions.
