  1. You're right, it's not like the AL has to determine which players will be in the line-up because of a left-handed or right-handed pitcher in the game more than the NL has to, and the managers don't have to worry about the depth of their bull-pen considering the talent discrepancy between the AL and NL line-ups. You NL fans are soley relying on the whole pitcher for a hitter part of the game, and it's really not as difficult as you guys are trying to make it sound.
  2. I'll respond to this more later, but I believe one of the best managers in the NL, Tony Larussa has said himself that it is harder to manage in the AL.
  3. It doesn't matter to me if the best manager is from the AL or NL, but what you're saying is just flat out false. Besides having a pitcher hitting in the NL, there is really no difference in strategy between the AL and NL in terms of "managing" a game. It's not that hard to pinch hit someone for a pitcher.
  4. I think they can, and if they make the playoffs, I think they will be the most dangerous team.
  5. Oh, they totally over-pair for one of the best QB's in the NFL, and the QB that SHOULD have won the MVP last season, but the media likes to suck a certain QB's dick.
  6. Well, Derrick Rose is a piece of [expletive] cheater, and Michael Beasley is in rehab, while O.J. Mayo is going to be a beast. I don't think Derrick Rose would have scored 200 on his SAT's if he had taken them. .
  7. And, neither do road racing accidents, so your point makes no sense.
  8. I'm not saying that racing isn't dangerous, but being intoxicated while driving, and not really knowing what you are doing a lot of the time is extremely dangerous, and those people need to spend at least a year in prison if they are repeat offenders.
  9. Well, Cliff Lee has been flat out dominant.......every 4 or 5 days, and Victor Martinez has been the best player for the Boston Red Sox since he was traded, and I believe that he has the 3rd highest OPS in the AL/MLB since becoming a member of the Boston Red Sox. I'll wait until the end of the season to make my decision, but I'd much rather have a player that is on the field nearly ever day, than a player that is on the field once ever 5 days.
  10. Oh, no, I have to put my best hitter in when I need a pinch hitter! Oh, the difficulties of being in the NL! .
  11. Well, four time is four times too many, and if people do it more than once, they need to go to jail, period.
  12. If the New York Yankees offense is off for a few games in a playoff series, they are toast. I don't think they have the pitching to survive a minor offensive slump, and I am hoping that they hit one soon.
  13. Grant Hill would be the better #1 option, but Michael Jordan would not have 6 rings if he didn't have Scottie Pippen.
  14. These are the four covers that Bill Simmons says are the four most ironic, and they are pretty funny to look at now. . 4. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/cover/featured/9731/index.htm 3. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/cover/featured/9782/index.htm 2. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/cover/featured/9750/index.htm 1. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/cover/featured/9670/index.htm Jason Giambi looks pretty funny, and Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa being the "Sportsmen of the Year" is funny as hell. .
  15. Dick Trickle doesn't even flow that well. Rusty Kuntz flows well, and makes perfect sense. .
  16. It's much easier to win race after race if you are the fastest runner in the world because all you have to do is run, and it's much easier to win race after race if you are the fastest person in the world because nothing is really changing. In golf, you have to compete against other players that can have a random day of greatness, which is much more common in golf than it is in a 100m race where you have a pretty good idea of who is going to finish 1st, 2nd, and 3rd because you know how fast they can run.
  17. Alright, out of every single RB in "Fantasy Football" the past few years, the Matt Forte hype is the most ridiculous to me. I don't see him having that big of a season, and we've barely seen him play.
  18. Don't do that to yourself. The Xbox 360 is 234523525252 times better than the PS3.
  19. That site does it for every video you are trying to watch. You need to click the play button, then it will take you to another page, but go back to the button you clicked, click it again, and it will play the video.
  20. He's dead, and half of the stuff in the video was wrong. . One of the cars they showed wasn't even his, but it was one of his crew's car.
  21. It's funny that during the past few weeks I have actually watched some "Married With Children" even though I have never really watched soap operas, but some of the chicks are gorgeous.
  22. I'm saying that the change in league's for these pitchers has been much easier than I thought. I wasn't expecting complete domination, that's all.
  23. The point was that Brady Penny was an All-Star in the NL and started the 2005 All-Star Game, but when he came to the AL East, he looked like [expletive]. C.C. Sabathia pitched well for the Cleveland Indians, but once he went to the Milwaukee Brewers, he was flat out dominant, and now he has come back to earth in the Al East. Cliff Lee has pitched very well the past two seasons in the AL, but once he left to the NL, he has suddenly become immortal.
