BREAKING NEWS: Michael Vick signs with Eagles
EastCoastNiner replied to CaliCurbStomppa's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Anyways, I'm sure most Philadelphi a Eagle's fans are happy that the organization didn't re-sign Brian Dawkins, the heart and soul of the defense, but signed Michael Vick. . Anyways, the deal is 1.6 mil for the first year, and a team option at 5.6 mil for the second year. -

I'm not saying this signing is. I just think he won't be happy if he has to sit for some wild-cat plays. -

The organization and fans have disrespected him time after time. Anyways, December 6th, 2009 should be very interesting....... -

Well, that Kevin Kolb pick was a waste now. . Donavan McNabb never should have re-signed after Andy Reid and the organization disrespected him last year in Baltimore. -

It shows you what they think of Donavan Mcnabb..... Anyways, the Philadelphia Eagle's fans are going to let him hear it. I kind of wanted to see him sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers and see how the Cleveland Browns "Dog Pound" would have reacted. . -
And, he had a TD as well. He would have had a 50 yard pass as well if it wasn't for a PI call. It's cool though, Donavan McNabb has some sacks and poor passes to his name tonight.

That was pretty much unbearable.

I don't get how hard it is to realize that if steroids weren't an extremely big advantage, than players wouldn't use them.
-
In terms of having a legal advantage in terms of lifting weight and more modernized training, yes, today's players have an advantage. However, players today aren 't allowed to cork bats, they have to play against players from many different countries, and other disadvantages that the previous era's did not have.

That video was disgusting. He showed me it, and I couldn't believe it was real at first. If that was one of my cats, and I found out who did it, I would torture them. -

You better take Amare Stoudemire off the list! -

How do you know that? -
One is legal, and one is illegal. Steroids give you a MUCCCHHH bigger advantage than just lifting does, or the players would never use steroids. If it didn't give you a major advantage, it wouldn't be illegal, and don't try and tell me the reason that steroids are illegal is becuase they are bad for your health.

It wasn't the creepy looking dude? Was it the guy that put his arms up at first when the security first came? -

I don't doubt that there are complete idiots at EVERY single stadium, but it has to be expected that if something bad happens involving a Philadelphia fan, it will get more attention, fair or not. Also, I don't blame the Philadelphia Phillies fan that retaliated at all because I would hope a Boston Red Sox fan would do the same thing if some moron poured beer on a Boston Red Sox player. -

Please, just stop. Would ESPN make a bigger deal about if it was a Philadelphia Phillies fan pouring a beer on a Chicago Cubs player? Most definitely they would. HOWEVER, whether you like it or not, Philadelphia has developed a certain reputation, which is why negative things that Philadelpia fans do get made into a big deal. Is it fair? That's debatable, but it's obvious why people react the way they do when it is dealing with a Philadelphia fan. Also, the Philadelphia Phillies fan didn't disappoint. . -
This wasn't uncalled for at all. She deserves every bit of criticism that she receives.

Top 10 shooting guards in NBA history

I still think people are undervaluing Allen Iverson. I think you can make a pretty good argument that he is the third best SG of "All-Time", and that's mainly because I don't think that previous era's match up with today's era. -
I never PM'd him, so feel free to ask him to take a screen-shot of his PM box or whatever you would want him to do Jackie Chan.
-
Obviously steroids aren't good for your health, but that isn't the reason that they are banned. Also, recent studies have shown that corked bats are actually worse for the batter, and won't result in more hits and more HR's.

Kevin Youkilis isn't appealing the suspension.
