Bosh Says He Won't Look at Nets This Offseason
kingfish replied to Teletopez's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
I see your point, he could definitely improve his defense with a little more effort if he played on a team that could actually win and needed him to play defense. As of right now though, hes just an irrelevant player that gets his numbers and calls it a night. -
Tough game for the Cavs. Back to back, off a loss, they will probably be tired against a running team. Expect the Suns to win, but who knows. Amare and Nash will have a huge night most likely.

Lakers getting it done with D
kingfish replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Yeah yeah we know, Lakers are good, best team ever, blah blah blah. Nice Bragging. -
I never said you specifically criticized him. So really you're the one being defensive.

Who would you want to win the NBA Finals?

Good post thats what I was expecting Not people being stupid and accusing me of bragging. -
He won a championship as a 2nd option all star, putting up fantastic numbers in each postseason round. Not to mention the work he did on Dwight Howard. Criticize him if you want but there is a reason he has a ring.

Bosh Says He Won't Look at Nets This Offseason
kingfish replied to Teletopez's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
Bosh not a championship player. He gets his numbers, gets abused by his man, sucks at D, etc. See also - Zach Randolph. -
I sorta agree with you. The Cavs are dangerous in the first 2 rounds, after that not much imo. You know they arent going to lose Shaq, it just wont happen. They would have to trade him, which I dont see happening. Or bench him, which wont happen. They probably have too much pride to just give up on him, and he has too much pride to agree to a lesser role or on the bench, or having no role at all. The Cavs arent gonna change. Even if Shaq somehow goes away, they still have the same problems they had last year. Killed on the pick and roll, slow big men with a very limited offensive game. Good regular season team, dangerous, but nothing more. The Celtics are contenders, no doubt about it. But their age, and slowness seem to be a problem for them. And I dont think weve had any losses like that this season, B. We lost to Houston at home, without Pau, Kobe hamstring injury, Houston dieing for revenge, understandble. Dallas was a legit loss, but again without Pau. We have beaten the teams we should beat for the most part. Hasnt always been pretty though.

Who would you want to win the NBA Finals?
kingfish replied to kingfish's topic in General NBA Discussion
What the hell is wrong with you people? How was I bragging about the Lakers? I just wanted to see the number of people on here that would support contending teams. Again, what the hell? I have no idea how I was "bragging." Why was the poll removed? The 2nd seed on in the West is NOT contenders. The Nuggets are inconsistent and losing to lottery teams on a daily basis, the Spurs are broke and cant beat anyone other then themselves. The Mavs are good, but I wouldnt consider them a contender either, at least not yet but they are close to convincing me. Ugh, pathetic guys. Just, pathetic. -
So Cavs lose to a Dallas team with no Dirk Nowitzki, and this is the same thread where someone was talking about the Cavs being elite.
-
Get past Kobe or Artest, and you have two 7 footers or a long armed Odom waiting for you. Our D is tough, right B?
-
Of the contending teams, who would you want to win the NBA Finals?
-
Durant. I think Durant will eventually become better then Lebron, especially in the 2nd half of the decade. And neither will have any playoff success, so it will probably be Durant. Hes already a terrific scorer and improving, and hes starting to use his long arms for rebounds, blocks, and steals. His assists will probably depend on the team around him.

Cavs Interested In Troy Murphy?
kingfish replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Theyve been interested in a lot of guys. I dont see this happening tbh. -
Ok whatever you say. Were annually the best road team in the NBA anyways, stop complaining. We lost at home against Houston and Dallas....without Pau........ Tell me something, whats our record since we got Pau back? Thank you. If I were you, I would just expect another failure for failland, I mean Cleveland. You are just setting yourself up for another huge dissapointment AGAIN. And just to throw your logic in there. Cavs lost in Houston, Lakers won there without Pau. Cavs lost to Memphis, Lakers beat Memphis. Cavs are 3 games back of the Lakers in the standings, zomg! Wait til June buddy. Wait til June.
-
You should have learned this last year the Cavs dont match up well with the elite teams, especially not this year. That is why they cant advance to the Finals. You sound just like you did last year, but you wouldnt listen when everyone told you the Cavs faced long odds. Watch very closely on Christmas.
