  1. Exactly and thats why it boggles my mind to think the Heat will even be close to the Lakers defensively. Lakers have arguably the 2 best perimeter defenders, 2 good defensive seven footers, and plenty more good defenders on the bench. The Heat only have Lebron, Wade, and arguably Haslem, nobody else on that team has proven anything defensively.
  2. Hah. Your using all defensive teams as your criteria. Ron Artest didnt even make the all defensive team. So I guess Wade and Lebron are better defenders then Artest? Right. Are you saying KG was a pathetic defender before he got to Boston? Thats just ridiculous, he would always get about 2 blocks and 1.5 steals per game even in Minnesota, and he always had the defensive IQ and was always a great help defender. He made Boston a dominant defensive team because they already had the pieces in play to be a good defensive team, and also had Perkins who could shut down guys in the paint. You are implying that you can simply turn a switch and become a great defender overnight, sorry thats not happening, especially with someone as soft as Chris Bosh. Are you referring to the 2006 Heat team? Oh right, the one from 4 years ago?
  3. Wade and Lebron are average defenders, Bosh is a soft pathetic defender, dude is a twig. And other then that, who else on that team plays D? Oh your really scary with Eddie House Nobody to protect the rim, no shut down defenders, thats a joke lol.
  4. They have a lot of great defensive players on this team. Theres plenty of perimeter defense with Kobe, Artest, Barnes, Brown, and even Blake and Fisher. Then there are 2 shot blocking 7 footers in Bynum and Gasol, and Odom who is a great help defender and very useful for switching big-small on pick and rolls. Also cant forget about Ratliff who is a good shot blocker (averages 2 per game for his career). I could see this team being one of the best ever defensively. If the 2004 Pistons and 2008 Celtics managed to do it, I think this Lakers team has all the pieces and maybe even more then those 2 teams. But of course, being the Lakers, its going to come down to effort.
  5. Well yeah, but like, Malone was injured n stuff. Ok heres a better comparsion lets say Kobe doesnt break his fingers the last two years and Bynum plays at least 70 HEALTHY games. Dont you think that a Laker team with that kind of health could challenge 70 wins? I think so.
  6. I wouldnt bother with the injuries card, they were pretty lucky for the most part that Jordan and Pippen were fine, and they didnt have many injuries.
  7. I thought Lebron and Dirk were going to the Nets to play with their hero, Jigga. Then I remembered, Jigga man aint got no swag so he couldnt convince anyone to sign wit him.
  8. Looks like lead passing still a problem.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndNjePGjxjY [expletive]ing hillarious.
  10. Woah woah woah. Slow down there partner. JR taking Kobes place?
  11. Right now id rather take Wallace. Better shooter and can give you great rebounding from the small forward position, and you can use him to stick on guys like Lebron, Melo, and other elite SF's.
  12. My sources tell me Melo prefers Olympiacos. This game is fun.
  13. Carson Palmer sucks lol he didnt "make" anyone. Chad and TO are the better duo.
  14. Anyone can change the Heat rosters in 2k10, call it 2k11 and make a youtube video. Cmon brah.
  15. Dudeeee I love this guy I would be ecstatic if he ever became a Laker. I think he was the best rookie last year, hes gonna be a superstar for sure.
  16. Not when [expletive]es are using modded controllers with the stupid FAL and stopping power.
  17. I heard the ESPN announcers talking about how Gordon is perfect for FIBA basketball, hes a great shooter and is strong enough to take the contact on the drives. Curry is a beast and would be good for this team also. Id say they should cut Granger because they already have Rudy and Iggy.
