Contrary to popular belief, I am going with LeBron, although I gotta give love to my man Rose. I used to believe that LeBron is not that important to the Heat but it's quite clear that despite having Wade and Bosh, the Heat is LeBron's team. He is doing everything he can do (and the ceiling for him is pretty high) to make the team win and he is the best player in the NBA, no doubt in my mind.

Mavs making one last effort at Prince and JR Smith

Butler's contract + picks I guess. -
I think I saw Billups, Douglas, Walker, Shawne Williams and Melo out at the same time as well. Good win though.
-
Brewer is actually #2 and I think Shelden Williams is #13 Nice stuff though, I'll post my 360 rosters out once the trade deadline have passed as well.

WTF? What's with the weird jerseys too?

Suddenly, it's down to 3. 6 unanswered points by the Bucks.
-
Unbelievable. The Jazz needs Sloan back now.
-
Correct me if I am wrong...but I believe the Warriors had Dorell Wright playing C at one point...that's probably as small as any team can go

Salary don't match up if you are serious. On a side note, Roger Mason Jr. actually have a negative PER of -2.5

^ Apparently so. This is now must-see TV.

2nd round at best still. I actually believe the Knicks lost more than they gain in the Melo trade and I doubt Camby can keep up in D'Antoni's system.

Warriors inquire on McGee, Aldridge, Nene, Kaman
Newman replied to a topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
The Warriors' system is a perfect fit for McGee. -
Also about Barron...this guy has no shooting touch whatsoever but, fortunately, he can grab a lot of rebounds so lots of times he grabs his own miss and tries again until he makes the basket.

Devin Harris "in all likelihood" headed back to Dallas
Newman replied to a topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
Well, according to David Aldridge, he said that Portland are re-thinking of getting Harris because of their great recent form and if I may quote him: All the more likely for Dallas to get Harris. -
Kings Close to Trading Landry for Hornet's Thornton

Landry was killing it in Houston 2 years ago...indeed, if he play well, NO can let West go. -

Oh wow, great, great trade by NO. -
Hornets shopping Marcus Thorton

Guys that we have been rumoured to get...Lee, Parker, Mayo, Thornton...any of them would be an upgrade over what we got. I love Brewer, but he flat out can't shoot. Meanwhile, Korver can only shoot. If we combine them 2 we would get the perfect SG for our system, but unfortunately we need to look at trades to upgrade at the 2 guard spot. -
^ I forgot about Riley as a player Only remember him as a coach. My mistake.
-
That's right. Only problem is that Billups won't be able to play 40 minutes per game like Felton did so Toney D will pick some more minutes up at PG.
-
Great players doesn't equal great GM The only two decent GMs that were former players I can think of are Joe Dumars and Larry Bird. But I agree with the short-term fixes as Eddy Curry and Jerome James were looking great for like 2 months and Isiah would quickly snap them up with a huge contract.

Hornets shopping Marcus Thorton
Newman replied to The Regime's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
I would do it in a heartbeat. :glasses: -
The only drop is that Billups is much older than Felton. Otherwise, Billups will post similar numbers to Felton in the Knicks.
-
Why is James Dolan still trusting this guy after all the money Isiah has cost him?

Hornets shopping Marcus Thorton
Newman replied to The Regime's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
I have absolutely no idea why they would shop him. Granted he doesn't play that much, but he scores whenever he's playing.
