  1. I agree with the talent upgrade part. I might be being a bit harsh but besides Love, Jefferson and Flynn, all the other players in the T'Wolves squad cannot even make the grade of sixth man in other teams. With a team like this a complicated plan such as a triangle cannot be conducted because the players are too inexperienced. Also, this works best with a PG who is a role player in the team [Fisher in the Lakers, Ron Harper/B.J Armstrong (B.J had a bit of talent during his time with the Bulls) in the Bulls] because the Triangle pretty much restricts how much freedom the PG has in directing the game. An example would be Jay Williams and the Bulls. A talented PG when he came into the league (I know he came from Duke but he still ain't no meatloaf), his first mission is to learn the Triangle. It's too much to learn for a rookie who had just came out of a university where the game is controlled in the point guard's hands. Flynn is a talented PG, but you can't see it when the Triangle is used.
  2. Size is a big factor. That's why Earl Boykins couldn't find a team despite being able to score 10+ points in a team until recently. When average guys can post you up easily for 15 points, the team is still losing points with him playing. Nate has potential, but the best he can do is being a Flip Murray - Sonics era type of player. Scoring when others are injured/ice cold.
  3. I don't think LeBron would turn down the talent he has around him right now anyway. If Wizards trade anyone that would strengthen the Cavs, I would officially boycott watching any of their games in the future. If Arenas can't be a great PG, why not push him to the 2? I know it's going to be bad defensively, but if they play small ball then it might just be able to cover for the defensive loss. Promote Boykins to starting PG or make a trade using the 3-4 swingmen they have on the bench for a PG. One deal I have in mind is Caron Butler to Portland for Andre Miller (I think the salaries don't match but the folks in the Front Office would figure them out if they really want the deal to happen). Portland get a starting SF that might just be their weakest spot (Butler's definitely an upgrade over Webster), Wizards get the floor general they want. Everyone's happy. At the moment, one passer out of 5 is not enough, not to mention the passer is throwing shots as well. If Flip is anywhere the same as he was in the T'Wolves era, he would not have any trick up his sleeves. It is either work or don't work for him. Nothing in between and at the moment, the plan he created for the Wizards ain't working.
  4. I got the feeling that if Wafer signed, Houston would 100% trade or even buy-out T-Mac. Obviously that's the case right now but if Wafer signed, it would've speed up the process.
  5. ...maybe when Kobe is around 36 years old or when someone on the Kings (most likely Tyreke) make the All-Star team.
  6. Eddie Jones is my favorite all-time Laker since I learned defence by watching him, but as far as achievements and all that other stuff go I'll go with Magic Johnson. He created the way I know the Lakers by, glamorous and flashy.
  7. Jennings is the 'victim' of such an amazing start to his NBA season. Now that there are more defensive pressure on him in every game, he really needs to think before taking some shots as he is now 'the man' in the Bucks. It would help to bring him down to earth by letting him come off the bench for a few games. As for Meeks, just basing on the stats (haven't seen him in a full game), he can be a useful player and starting him at the moment would do no harm. It also gives Redd the wake-up call that he has competition besides Delfino and he can well, lose his place in the rotation if needed to be. With the Bucks losing their confidence at the moment game by game, changes are needed.
  8. Don't think there are actual talks regarding either of the deals but I've found a blog talking about the Hinrich one. Click here for the blog
  9. I don't see who they can trade at the moment besides Miller, and he will be hard to move in the sense that who to get in return that would be (sort of) equal to Miller's skills and salaries. Even with their two centers out for the season, I don't see their GM doing anything reckless as they still got 1-2 seasons before their main players reach their full potential.
  10. Won't be an easy match but I am going to say that the Lakers will come out winners by 8 points or so unless LeBron absolutely kill them.
  11. No way are you gonna be better off without a 7-6 giant (unless that giant is Shawn Bradley) who can play defence and give the team an inside presence. The Rockets may be better off without T-Mac, but definitely not Yao.
  12. It's just awesome. I have only watched one movie in the Cinemas this year (yes it's sad) and I am glad it's this one.
  13. Just give him time. Eddie Jordan is not a bad coach. At least wait until Lou Williams return and then consider firing him if there are still no results.
  14. I laughed when I saw the video just like Kenny and Charles. He got slightly injured, sure, but he made a meal out of it. It's a way to gain morale though and he certainly helped his team in that purpose.
  15. I really like how the Raptors is making use of Sonny Weems, he's one of my favorite Sophomore. As for the Raptors, as the season progresses, they're surely going to only get better as all the new players gel together. This team is too talented and got too much depth to be outside of the playoffs.
  16. They will have to either dump Deng and Salmons to solve the problem or at least, make one of them a sixth man. Derrick Rose needs someone athletic or a 3-point shooter at the 2-guard spot to play with him in my opinion. Not only are Deng/Salmons not the player, they are the same type of player who lacks a perimeter game and the main weapon being their mid-range game, which means the Bulls will lack a bit of creativity with those two on the floor at the same time (given those two's similiarity).
