  1. The NBA should just start combining small market teams to make super teams like Miami and LA. For instance the San Antonio Trail Grizzlies PG- Tony Parker/Mike Conley SG-Tony Allen/Manu Ginobili/OJ Mayo SF- Rudy Gay/Kawhi Leonard/Stephen Jackson PF- Larmarcus Aldridge/Zach Randolph C- Marc Gasol/Tim Duncan
  2. You actually like Gee? He was awful on the Spurs....
  3. This is why the NBA is such an inferior league.
  4. Nash just gave the city of PHX a giant middle finger
  5. Damnit KG and Jason Terry in the same team? C's are making it really hard for me to like them...
  6. If the Spurs were able to get OJ Mayo I'd be ecstatic, I just think its nearly impossible. It all will depend on Duncan's new contract. If he resigns for his reportedly 11 million per year, or gets a similar KG deal the Spurs won't have a lot of money to work with. They still have to re sign Diaw, and rumors are they are looking to bring over PG Nando De Colo and PF Ezram Lorbek. That's also not including re signing Danny Green, obviously of they were able to get Mayo, Green would be expendable. Mayo is looking to get paid, and unfortunately the Spurs don't have the money.
  7. Undersized Shooting guard? Granted the 59th pick isn't that terrific, but another SG?!?!? Maybe we are drafting for the Toros
  8. I love draft day, but unfortunately for me the Spurs will most likely be quiet. I'm hoping they trade Blair and or Bonner to move into the first round....
  9. I've given hockey multiple chances, but I just can't get into it. Maybe it's because I don't understand the rules completely? I'd much rather watch NHL over MLB though! I don't think I've ever been able to sit through a complete baseball game.
  10. Last player to do something similar was Timmy D 2002/2003 NBA Champion -NBA Finals MVP -NBA MVP -All-NBA 1st Team -All Defensive 1st team -All-Star -4th in DPOY voting No other all star on that roster. Robinson was retiring, and Parker and Manu were basically rookies. In the playoffs Duncan averaged 25 PPG , 15 RPG, 5 assists and 3 blocks. He had a near quad double in a finals game missing out by 1 block (stats say he had 8, but I've watched the video 1 million times and he had 9.) Since this finals was hardly watched I understand why people don't recall how dominant Duncan was in the postseason/finals.....
  11. Let's see some consistency first. He's had a damn good playoffs this year, but years past he was labeled as a "choker" or underperformer. If his dominance continues and he wins a FEW more rings then we can talk about MJ..... Until then, he shouldn't even be compared to Kobe IMO.
  12. Eat shit OKC!!!!! San Antonio Heat FTW
  13. I feel bad for Durant, but [expletive] the rest of them. Congrats Heat
  14. He's interested in playing for LA? Shocker!!!!
  15. Wasn't there another thread like this one before? I'm pretty sure there was and I was all but lynched since I picked the dream team..... Let's be honest though, hypothetically if this game happened it would come down to officiating. For anyone that remembers the 90's era of basketball was officiated completely different than today's NBA. If the game was officiated the way it was in '92, the 2012 team would be at a huge disadvantage IMO. Most of the 2012 team isn't used to that hardnosed defense where hand checking was acceptable. Now if they played with '12 off iron I think a SLIGHt advantage goes to the 2012 team. Yes the dream teams defense would suffer some, but I honestly think the DT's offense would be better. I just think the DT could make enough adjustments defensively to get enough stops, I just can't see 2012 being able to stop the far superior low post scoring.
