  1. Along with many of the guys you all listed, I'd say that Von Wafer is the biggest sleeper if you're simming a season or something. He's like a 63 overall or something (plays for the Mavs in the last update), but will average 20 points per game if you start him. JR Smith status, but you can trade for him so easily.
  2. Yeah I'm sure it is haha. My brother lives in Bellevue, WA... the most expensive place to live on the west coast, even worse than Beverly Hills from what I've heard. Stuff there is ridiculous... It's like $1,800 a month for a crappy little apartment.
  3. Haha my cheap little 2 bed 2 bath college apartment costs $550 a month... per person. That's really cheap.
  4. In my area the unemployment was around 12% last year, which is way up there... Not the smartest place to live.
  5. I realize now that I misunderstood the context of this. It isn't power rankings as of the middle of the offseason, it's ranking just teams' moves in the offseason. Ahh, okay. Now I understand why good teams are in the bottom, and bad teams are at the top.
  6. In Oregon costs are slightly higher for real estate than the USA average, but other costs of living are way too high. The worst part is that wages are relatively low here. Once I get my bacherlor's I'm probably going elsewhere. I love Oregon but there's better places out there.
  7. Oh and I definitely check my phone first.
  8. "I wanna be like ay shorty, ay shorty, I just wanna say shorty I miss you more than I used to miss my 8:40 'Cause sometimes that is all you wanna hear When the buzz from the beer disappears." It's great lyrics, I think the female part kinda throws it off a little... but overall I can say that sums up high school quite well haha.
  9. Well when it goes according to plan, I jump up and turn off the alarm then go straight to breakfast. I drink coffee whenever, but never in the morning. It just makes me drop a little, I get to gain from it. But on most days, I turn off the alarm and sleep through half of my class then realize I [expletive]ed up. :/
  10. Hollins is athletic for a big man, but he rebounds like a little girl. He's gonna need to get more physical and use his athleticism to his advantage if he wants to play for a team that has any sense of winning. Funny how Sessions goes from sought after FA after a nice season, to being third string PG on a bad team, to being traded to a team where he may start (I could see Mo playing the 2 since he's more of a small shooting guard, and the Cavs playing a small lineup).
  11. Reviving the GTOAT! haha Spent way too much money this weekend on not very worthy [expletive], but it included a tank of gas ($75 in my F150... 9 miles a gallon blows), all kinds of fees to go to the fair, which was kind of eh but the concert was fun, and some beverages I didn't personally purchase for a certain reason. And the best ice cream cone I've ever had on a roadtrip. If anyone lives in Oregon or anywhere they might sell Umpqua ice cream, try the Huckleberry Cheesecake kind. Orgasm. Oh and also spent some cash on a huge University of Oregon O sticker for my truck. Best $5 of the week haha.
  12. Just to reword it to how I view it (very much like SRV and Brandon said as a combination, but it might provoke more though): Success, in either a material, emotional, mental state, or otherwise is all judged by you and yourself only. Nobody can make you happy if you don't let them, and at the same time nothing can ruin your happiness unless you let it. In a monetary sense, everyone has their own sense of rich. I'm not talking about a dollar value, but rather a certain lifestyle they feel they can live and at which point they feel like they're rich, in other words they don't need anything else. This value is constantly changing, but it is for the most part around a certain point for a while. So if the success requires no apologies, to me it's saying that you are the only one that can make you successful. If you are the GM of the Russell-Era Celtics, and you win 10 of 11 NBA Titles, you still might not be successful if you don't think you are. So basically once you decide you are a success, you don't have to apologize to anyone for; what you've done, what you did to get where you are, what you may not have done but still feel good about yourself, etc. To me that last part is the biggest... Even if you have faults (which everyone will obviously), don't apologize for them if you think you've been successful in whatever facet of life you're reflecting on. Now to mirror that, it's a similar message (but the flipside), although he takes an interesting stance in saying that rather than "failure accepts no alibis" or something of that nature, but by saying it doesn't "require" an alibi. By that token I think that the message is simple. If you fail at something (by this wording I'm assuming that he thinks you should at least try your best at things... I doubt he targets people that don't try to succeed in whatever they are reading this book for), you at least gave your best, so don't come up with excuses or lies. Accept that you didn't get it done, but you did something admirable. You tried. At the same time, it says to never give up on whatever your target is, whether it's as simple as wanting to buy a car in the future, or as challenging as a lifelong dream of any sort. Effort doesn't require an alibi. In Lamens terms, this is what I get out of it directly. Success is what you make it; effort deserves no apologies, and requries no excuses.

  14. Steph. I liked the kid but just didn't see him doing much. I never thought Durant was going to be very special. I love Texas but I doubted him a lot. I thought Acie Law was a future star. Whoops. Haha same with A.J. Abrams... I wish he could at least play in the league a little to show what he's got. Sean Williams. I thought he was gonna break out and have a 20-10 season.
  15. They claimed I'd need one for mine, but nobody had them and nobody was asked. I think they send it with your transcript.
  16. Ed Hardy? The cross is cool though.
  17. I'm hoping the Giants pick up an outfield power hitter. Torres has been nice, and Huff has played all over but outfield a lot lately, but I think in the short and long term, having another outfielder would be huge.
  18. Yeah this too, personality is the true key in any relationship.
  19. haha started at PlayStation forums, Lkr then recruited me here, at which point I was also on a pixelcar forum (it's a digital art site, you use MS Paint to create nearly photorealistic cars... takes forever) where I eventually became one of two admins on the site, then ended up getting older haha. Now this is the only place I post anything at all besides Facebook.
  20. Good head, as in good blowjobs or a nice face? I prefer a cute girl, then from there I check out the rest. I mean I check out the rest first in many cases, but for a potential girlfriend or something long term, it's definitely more important to have a girl that doesn't look like Golem.
  21. The only thing I'd ever do as far as piercings go, is getting my nipples chained together.
  22. I'll go Legacy, didn't really dig either that much, I mean the lines were okay but the flow on both was awkward. I think Legacy had more creative stuff calling out the Magic. 5-2 Riot.
  23. Well I think they have been rebuilding while keeping Baron and Kaman... everyone else on that team basically is young and recently acquired (within the last 3 years or so). I think they'll compete for a playoff spot this year, but they aren't championship caliber now. Baron and maybe Kaman will want out soon, and at that point I think you go for the best young talent you can get, and from there this team could be good in maybe 2 or 3 years when the roster is matured, if everyone important stays.
  24. I'm glad you caught my sarcasm haha.
