Farmar made the best decision for his personal life and career. He got paid and gets to play for a young up and coming team in the east. A lot of people need to stop hating on Farmar because he can be a good player in the right system with the right players around. People forget Farmar played extremely well when he had talent around him in the 2nd unit with the original bench mob. Farmar will have his best season of his career if he can stay healthy with the Nets. He plays well when he has talent around him and he can run and down the court with his teammates instead of running a complicated offense like the triangle. RD, the reason why he didn't sign with the Pacers is because they only wanted to give him a short term deal.

Yeah, both guys are getting camp invites to training camp and are going to make the team. Caracter is replacing Powell/MBenga and Ebanks is replacing Morrison. I don't see them getting a lot of playing time in their first two years with the Lakers. Mitch got 2 steals in the 2nd round because both guys have 1st round talent and potential. A lot of people don't know Caracter was one of the best players in the country when he was in high school and he outplayed Oden multiple times in high school camps.

He doesn't have the talent or skills to be a starting PG on a championship caliber team. LeBron should play PG for Miami and try to play a similar role Magic did with the Lakers. LeBron has the talent, skills, court vision, etc. to play PG.

No thank you. This would only make sense if the deal was Odom for Hedo, but the Lakers don't have a quality back up PF and insurance for Bynum/Gasol. Hedo has an 8M trade kicker in his contract. Is Hedo really worth 50M for 4 years to come off the bench and play limited minutes behind Artest? It would be stupid for the Lakers to have two underachieving players coming off the bench and making over 8M each per year. The Lakers lost 25M last year when they won the championship because of the luxury tax, bonuses, etc.
