OH YEA! New member here! OH YEA!(Wish I could say 'here' like dude does from Jersey Shore) im a Sports fan diehard. I grew up in San Francisco so my main teams are Warriors, Giants and......Raiders (*huh*). ya... i got alot of crap from family and friends growing up for that one.... i do alot of FantasySports stuff on yahoo. STATcity can vouch for my activeness in that area, since he's also the douche that recruited me to this forum! I'm also big time into NBA2K11... MY PLAYER anyone? Steph Curry shouldnt be playing in the rookie-soph game this year... since he should be playing on the main stage with the bright lights like the rest of the NBA stars... and i guess Monta can go along as well. anyways, im willing to read and comment on most any random thread to give an opinion. ill try and stay out of the debates that look to be a little more hardcore for now.. but i wont hold back for long! feel free to put me on BLAST if anyone feels the need to do so!

but ya, take a look at the media and you can find the superstars as well... kuz the media will include guys like Paul and Durant.. two guys that a person who doesnt follow the NBA might not know... Kobe LBJ Durant Paul Dwight Wade Carmelo id say those guys are in the upper echelon of superstardom. my girlfriend was also able to give me these quotes: " the one guy from the Celtics who keeps getting hurt" LMAO! Pierce.... " Khloe's husband... Lamar..." ...Odom " the guy who is tall on the Spurs and Eva Longoria's husband" Duncan... Parker "Stevie Nash" "old player on the Mavs" Kidd... "Yao" " the guy who signed with the Knicks" i know i left off some studs like Dirk, Deron Gasol and Amare... but my GF was able to cover Amare between us

true... but id argue Gilbert Arenas was a superstar before his injuries and legal issues but i do see your main point.

IMO Rose is a scorer then a facilitator.

to make it simple... Superstars are players that the average person knows. not trying to be mean... but ask someone, say your mother, if they know what team Brandon Roy or Derrick Rose plays for... or even if they who he is... then ask her about Kobe and LBJ...Dwight.. IMO thats a quick way to define a superstar... EDIT: Quick exceptions are Durant and Paul

is it just me, or did the Celtics bench not play as big as they did last night? sure Glen Davis ended up with decent numbers... but the rest of them just didnt seem strong....

ive watched some of the 1st and most of the 2nd Q of this game, and i know this game ended up being a good one... but i just dont think i can watch anymore! so many missed shots where there is no defense... or forced offense on good defense. Rodney Stuckey goes HARD to the rim. Terrence Williams can ball at times... but overall, im just not too impressed. with the 1st half over.. im really trying to dceide if i should tune back in, or switch to another game...

well, i started watching this game during the re-run at the start of the 4th. Beasley really tried to get going. IMO he's really putting a foot forward right now to try and be that go to guy ahead of Kevin Love. i've seen a couple of very nice play from beasley, but then he comes back and has a couple head scratchers where i think he is forcing the issue or missing easy shots. bottom line is that man is really quick... better things to come from him hopefully for the sake of TWolves basketball. Another thing is that i wasn't exactly looking for DeMarcus Cousins... but the fact that i didnt even know he was on the floor during the early 4th quarter minutes wasnt a good sign. Anthony Tolliver is tearing things up here in the 4th. Quick Technicals are frustrating, cant believe the one just called on Darko. WOW. Nevermind on what was written ^ there on Cousins.. they have now gone to him on 4 straight possessions where he has drawn 2 fouls, made a nice post move on Darko and then a forced shot under the basket. not a bad 3 out of 4 possessions from him. nice to see the Kings give him the ball with 4-6 minutes left in the game.
